If they took down the ilvl restrictions for trading for personal loot just like they are doing for group loot, there would be no effective difference between Master Loot and personal loot in a group where everyone has agreed to move loot to whomever can help the guild the most with it. This is such a wrongheaded move and yet again we see a screeching minority fuck up the game and in this case fuck up what is possibly the most booming community in the game, people who do Dungeons and Raids in PuGs.
I assume the loot changes wouldn't include LFR? that would be terrible!

Honestly don't get why Blizzard just didn't flat out remove Sentinels protection from Hunters at this point.
It was already sub-par as group utility as it was. With this change I cannot see a situation where you would pick it except if you genuinely have nothing else to spend it on. Even Lone Wolf MM Hunters might pick increases to pet damage for the times you need a hero pet over Sentinels Protection.

I like the BoE change actually. Should be interesting to see how it affects prices when they are somewhat deterministic. Assuming three or four minibosses in the raid I feel like you get a net total more BoEs per raid than you used to. Should also inflate the amount of alt runs in lieu of BoE trash farms.

I am going to assume that they won't have Group Loot in LFR. That just seems like a disaster waiting to happen, as I am sure anyone who ever ran Dragon Soul LFR can attest to.

The issue is more likely what happened in Dragon Soul. Putting Need on everything, both copies of the same thing, or even stuff you don't need for throughout, or can even equip.
I still vividly remember Dragon Soul weapons going to random people who then disappeared. Whether someone got double of the polearms, or a druid picking the sword.

Guys, I can't believe even here people speculate Group Loot is a beta-only thing, just for testing. /facepalm
Sure, if it's bugged or it sucks in another way, it'll get changed, but otherwise, this is what we're going to get in live Dragonflight, too.
I personally don't mind this being just Group Loot, but I can see them adding Master Loot as an option for guild groups, too.
But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.
