It's an unavoidable problem for an MMO that the content will inevitably have to coast for months at a time without continuation, even when it logically should be of paramount importance that something is happening.

Why Blizzard didn't simply have a quest where we see Sylvanas chained up in Oribos in a coma or something is beyond me though. I guess Blizzard didn't want to suspend disbelief that she isn't talking despite that literally being the first thing she tried doing before collapsing.

Ye you are right, but like you said they could have atleast make it look to us like they are putting Sylvanas into a certain state or trying to win information from her, but nope we are left in the dark with nothing to grab on. It feels like a horrible cliffhanger like these tv shows with several months in between. This is not how you win players/viewers what ever. How about giving us some teaser some hints, anything would have been decent.

I remember when they said they were actively looking at loose ends and tips of icebergs to speculate on.. sadly we didn't got any of that.
I don't count that half assed first one bits that came out of the blue.. with some statues which are appearntly important.

It's even more depressing. If things in the world and within Blizzard would be normal, we would be less than 2 weeks before Blizzcon with expansion reveal. And this thread would move 20 pages a day.

Worse than that even, without any delays we would have been in 9.2 at least. Sanctum of Domination would have already been made deprecated content. Whatever new Anima sources or changes would have likely already meant that everyone would have completed at least one covenant completely.
The story would probably still be as boring as ever to those like me that don't really care about the setting, but at least it would almost definitely soon be over with 9.3, which further would likely take place on Azeroth anyways.

What is weird and you should probabaly not thinking about this.. but does it ever cross your mind that Sylvanas has been defeated some time ago now.. and still sitting there at that bossroom with her now blue eyes waiting before the story moves on. No hint, no continuation.. just nothing.
How are we suppose to care still? by the time we hear from her next, people have gotten kids or dinged 6 alts. The storytelling is soo damn sparse its hard to keep interrest.

Yeah I really think there should have been at least a short questline in 9.1.5 dealing with her. We're stuck with this situation for 8-9 months and it's ridiculous.

After 9.1 reactions, I don't think Blizzard wanna give more hints on her redemption arc, they're probably going to put it all together in 9.2 to minimize backlash.

It wouldn't need to be redemption. Just the Eternal Ones escorting her to Oribos or wherever. Put her in prison, I mean... something? Before her fate is revealed. How hard could it have been to give us a questline where she's just put into prison or gets chained somewhere with the Eternal Ones, Jaina and Thrall standing around her. It wouldn't do much to advance her story, but it wouldn't leave us completely hanging either.

I think the main guy of the writing team wouldn't allow Sylvanas to be treated like a prisoner. I'm not even joking. I bet Sylvanas will be running around freely in 9.2, and since they know that would make people upset they're saving it for 9.2.

Guys, your obsession over that one person supposedly obsessed over Sylvi is getting out of hand. Just because he likes a character doesn't mean he will be simping for her in every possible way. Not allowing to be imprisoned? Fucking please! Also, Danuser was Nathanos fan. And how did that end?

With Nathanos being dead he can channel all his devotion into Sylvanas.
