Well presumably they are all in a dungeon somewhere being pressed to reveal what they know of Sylvanas' plans. Failing that they are likely on trial for conspiring with Azeroth's most wanted.

The most we get to know of what her believers think of her in the aftermath of her disappearing is either the ones that are still adamant she is their queen, and those like her Dark Rangers who are desperate to distance themselves from her, and are generally despondent that they are now known sympathizers to someone who conspired to kill everyone, and indeed not just helped release N'zoth, but is also responsible for releasing the Scourge.

He's among the main characters in all of WoW, so I'm kinda happy he's as diplomatic as he is. Also, Varian became WAY more interesting from WoTLK to Legion, and that was due to Anduin mainly.

I've seen some theories suggesting Anduin will die at the end of SL, but that's like the dumbest thing I've ever heard, cause it would negate Anduin's purpose as a character.
Just an hunch but I would bet on Anduin and Sylvanas staying in the Shadowlands/dieing

Well, I didn't know that, so thank you. It sounds as half-assed as I expected from BfA, to be honest.

the next xpac will be something completely left-field, the theme probably hasn't even been speculated by the playerbase yet
I could actually see 10.0 be a "break" expansion, much like MoP, where the general themes are more grounded and a bit lighter.

Undermine and Goblin/Gnome stuff would fit that bill rather well. Additionally a Tinker class would be a new base class, much like Monks were.

After the break expansion, you can venture back into the heavier, reality-ending stuff.

Well what did you expect from a storyline that was only added after Blizzard realized there were Horde players who were legitimately thinking that Sylvanas wasnt horribly evil?

The obvious end to the storyline is that the loyalist players gets executed, but obviously that isnt going to happen, nor indeed is any realistic outcome going to happen like setting all Horde faction reps to hated, or guards in faction cities being hostile.

I recall reading some mention that there are still some loyalist NPCs who are hidden, something about a few of them may whisper or have different responses to you if you're a loyalist.

That said anyone expecting anything big to come of the loyalist thing was kidding themselves.

They didn't even make a big deal of contracting with fucking N'Zoth, you think they'd do something for Sylvanas?

Shadows rising says loyalist were exiled so they would likely all be joining one neutral faction or another, player characters excluded of course.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

Yo...Imagine all the thing Anduin will have to go through if and (Let's be honest here) when he survives past SL:
Imagine Anduin's shock seeing Turalyon and Lothraxion taking over SW, if the narrative is written that way
Imagine Anduin having to deal with the bad sides of BOTH the Light and the Void
Imagine Anduin meeting Sargeras and Illidan

    I doubt Anduin will die.
But i don't think he'll just pick up being king again.

I don't think they put Turalyon in regent position just to not do anything with him. (though, it wouldn't surprise me if i'm wrong)

None of those things sound interesting. Especially not Anduin just stealing Sylvanas' original noble undead characterization. Dealing with the Light & Void sounds interesting, but since Turalyon & Alleria seem to be the Light/Void instigators I think its more likely we're getting a Light-&-Void-team-up-to-oppress-Azeroth storyline

Anduin will go into self-exile ala Luke Skywalker after rejected by the House of Nobles and his people due to being touched by Satan's energy.

As inscribed in Canon and according to portrayal of both Anduin and Stormwind.

  13. #9733
Anduin is gonna be a Void Bomb in 9.2 Raid Cinematic. Either he gets incinerated by the Security System of the Sepulcher or he gets killed by Zovaal. Either way, I don't see him being a good character after this. He's just going to be a mindbroken husk who is going to become a new villain who went crazy as per usual.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Arthas was a compelling character although not an orginal one. Everything arthas did in warcraft three was justified. Anduin being a useless twat isnt. He needed to either grow up after bane failed to do the right thing and was bullied into a war with the alliance or there needed to be a shift where the alliance stopped humoring him and excluded him from any important issue.

Having a constantly useless weak character in a setting like this makes for a poor story. There isn't a moment anywhere in wow were I can point to a belief or action anduin has that is remotely sensible.

The horde is so comically evil that in mop when they had an alliance commander order horde swimming they were in the right... the horde in question turned to demonic corruption again and where berserker brutes.

If wow was a different story and a different setting anduin would be a compelling character. He just doesn't make sense in this story or setting.

Considering you're an Alliance apologist who has no problem with the invasion & assassination in Zuldazar shows me Blizzard knows exactly what they're doing: Making players hate the opposite faction based on their personal sympathies.

I mean, you're a Sylvanas fanboy who genuinely thinks she's a good guy and better than Alleria and Turalyon because they tortured one person (while Sylvanas and the Forsaken have tortured how many people since Classic), they have indeed performed their job flawlessly

It's a shame Sylvanas doesn't like you back though, since she was 100% ready to kill the PC (You) without remorse.

It's kind of like Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, how he's so braindead and oblivious to everything and just says "she's ma qween" over and over and over again.

So congrats I guess Loyalist players, your character is the WC version of Jon Snow.
    But Dany did nothing wrong?

    Neither did Sylvanas ....

Way to literally ignore Anduin's entire character, the fuck?

Its all dumb shit. Jaina's character is not bad writing not BFA's like at all but bad writing around here is basically everyone's "I win" button.
