Elune is levels above the Eternal Ones and the Eternal Ones are dumb as f*ck, so I do put them on the bottom of the barrel in general. Elune should be the most powerful tangible being in the universe for us at the moment, so I assumed she wouldn't be completely idiotic.

We're told that the Eternal Ones are on par with the Titans. If Elune is the"sister" of the WQ, then logically, she's on the same level. You're making assumptions and asserting them as fact.

They should've just kept Elune in the back, being mentioned as a god and worshiped. Not only has her mystique gone, her first scene makes her look incompetent as fuck.

Why would Elune be categorically more powerful than her sister? Her mysterious nature doesn't mean she's more powerful, just that Solitude appears to be tied to her themeing as a Moon Goddess.

On a side note, I think for the next expansion that the Shadowlands needs to be destroyed or completely remade by the end of this story: Knowing exactly what happens when we die will make any Dilemma back in the world of the living seem very trivial: Plus if the Shadowlands races have to seek refuge outside the veil, that would open them up to being Allied Races

When it comes to the phoenix mount, also remember there was a second, regular-fire colored version, the Fireplume Phoenix, that went unused.

They do make several versions of mounts after all so that itself isn't too weird, but still, bears keeping in mind, I think.

Yeah, true. I find the Foxcat to be very Blood Elf like whereas the Phoenix is very Nightborne / Night Elf like. Coincidence? I think not.

I know that we're told that, but the Eternal Ones in the game are a joke, especially the Archon and the Winter Queen. They're horribly depicted, weak and dumb. I'm not making assumptions, but Elune was always treated as an almost almighty godess. I agree with what @GR8GODZILLAGOD said. Elune should have been kept in the dark, now and for all. It just takes away so much from her presence.

That appears to be too choreographed to be a coincidence: The Alliance is currently being run by an Avatar of the Light & an Avatar of the Void. & Then the Horde is being run by the new elf power couple, representing the Sun & Moon. That & all the Peace-loving character are away in the shadowlands. Seems like it's building tension for something big. (Although there's a good chance that these developments were just ideas for BFA that didn't get used)

I'm still waiting for the Quel'Thalas revamp. And Teldrassil is burnt down so maybe the Draenei islands get a makeover as well...

The Void Entity inside Alleria is clearly trying to turn the Sunwell into a void portal to take over Azeroth: When it comes to plot threads for big conflicts, that's the most obvious one.

You are right that the eternal ones are complete and utter dipshits, since not a single one of them thought to check on oribos once they were already experiencing a heavy draught. They even have a direct line to the arbiter, which let's them look even more lile total morons, Kyrestia especially so, since she keeps chugging souls into the maw even AFTER she knows the arbiter, the machine she knows was created by the primus, is broken.

But you are way off with elune. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, indicates that she is more powerful than the titans or the etneral ones, other than the wishful thinking of nelf fans maybe. The issue here is more that she condemned her children to be fertilizer for the winterqueen and then didn't even bother to make sure that whatever caused the draught would not affect her dung shipment either.
You are welcome, Metzen. I hope you won't fuck up my underground expansion idea.

"Pre-1.0 is the last time the Sunwell was relevant" Alleria almost poisoned the sunwell with void energy in Legion & despite this she plans on going back.
"the cat is very HIGH elf" So Blood elf?

I think the Sunwell is relevant, but even then, no time travel necessary, or even then Sylvanas would definitely want to go back to before Warcraft 3

    We get High Elves
People are still going on about high elves, despite that we got them thrice over.

Okay why is it every day I wake up and this thread has taken another utterly incomprehensible turn.

Why the hell is everyone talking about Sylvanas betraying us and "remaking reality so the scourge never existed and we timeskip backwards" now?

Yeah also this. We literally have them. It's called Blood Elves and Void Elves as of 9.0.

Because WoD set a terrible precedent.

Honestly I think it's more people have run out of ideas and want to just roll the clock back so we can Play The Hits as it were.

Personally, if these mounts mean anything for 10.0, and I do not believe they do, I think they point toward the Emerald Dream, AKA the Lifelands.

And just to tangent here a moment, I went and looked at the Cosmology chart again. The Shadowlands aren't even the Deathlands, they're sitting on the chart in the "Mortal Realm" but between Azeroth and the Deathlands. The Emerald Dream does the same thing on Life's end. So odds are when that one General was talking about the Lifelands, he meant the Dream.

And obviously if they mean anything, you have the Sun and Moon. Elune and An'she, Night Elf and Tauren, Druidism. It would also go back to explain the "Living World" testfiles that were found if it's for the Emerald Dream.

I won't lie, if that is the case I expect it to be very bland like that Lifelands leak (though the name is so blatantly 0 effort that leak itself is junk). No revamp, few new zones, borrowed power is still a thing, "BFA 3" basically.

Though wouldn't it be cool if it was used as an excuse to revamp the Old World because the Emerald Dream zones were basically "overlaid" on top of EK/Kalimdor. Like you get a spell that lets you cross into the Dream and depending on where on the EK/Kalimdor map you use it, you get put into a roughly corresponding spot in the Dream?

You're assuming the "spheres" in the cosmology chart (Void, Light, Death, Spirit, Order & Chaos) are physical locations, but I don't think they are: There aren't "Deathlands, Lifelands, Voidlands, etc." They only represent spheres of influence. Sargeras wasn't "hiding in the Chaos realm" he was just far away in space. That's specifically why all these forces are fighting over the Dream, The Planets & the Shadowlands: It is these material planes that actually have any real estate values. No one has territory that innately belongs to them, not even the cosmic forces.

It doesn't sound real at all. Wod not withstanding but.... I think that would be a massive risk doing what that "leak" says will happen.

Given that she apparently only learned of the drought at all due to her link with her sister and even that is implied to only be very vague information, she likely couldn't check.
