I really don't think Blizzard have anymore room for delays. They should dish out info as fast as possible. And it seems they realize that, seeing as 9.2 went on the PTR literally 2 days after 9.1.5 launch, which I don't think has ever happened before.

This whole situation is interesting - there's never be an equitable situation in the industry to compare.

While this sounds logical in itself, the execution seems to be flawed.

Why rush 9.2 PTR out when you kept 9.1.5 on PTR for so long? I mean they could have released 9.1.5 two weeks sooner, if not more. They chose to not to do so. That tells me 9.2 just wasn’t ready. And I’m not sure how much they can achieve within 2 weeks in that regard.

Not to mention it doesn't even make any sense. The announcement, if for WHATEVER REASON doesn't come tonight, needs to be here by Thursday, and it will 99% be here (never say 100, they can always fuck it up), but all things considered.. the announcement SHOULD be this week. And it's most logical for it to be today.

I would like people to remember the last time we got a new major patch on the vendor update, it didn't became unencrypted or get announced until a full 7 business days later. It's only been one business day.

I said nothing of the sort. I said if they wanted to get out 9.2 PTR so desperately (as some suggest), they could have released 9.1.5 sooner.

I even said the 2 week delay for Endwalker doesn’t mean anything for WoW.

They called that the "announcement" trailer but it wasn't really: An announcement actually talks about the features of the patch.
