Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Golden fields and grass obviously exists, but why would anyone immediately jump to that when dunes of sand seemed so much more likely is my point.
You look at that version of Elysian hold that seems straight from 1001 nights, the lack of trees or general vegetation on the actual plains, and your thought doesn't immediately spring to golden fields of grass. It jumps to Arabic nights inspired desert.
The world revamp dream will never die!
This murloc seems like a thin lead. Old model with simple recolour? Wait, old model? World revamp confirmed!

Have y’all every asked why a Green Dragon was captured in Icecrown? Why Dragonblight has so many Green Dragons around?
Sholazar still exists. And who knows what’s deep under Icecrown Citadel? There you have plenty of lore and stuff for a 9.2 taking place in Northrend.

Exactly. That’s why we don’t need 9.2 to be another cosmic plane or whatever. There are plenty of reasons why wrapping up Shadowlands in Northrend (aka Azeroth) makes sense. Plus it ties neatly in a supposed Dragon Isle expansion.
I tried to look up lore for Valithria, but there’s not much, so do we know why she was captured in Icecrown?

And it’s so cute! They always get me with Murloc stuff. Really the secret mascot of WoW.
By the way, it looks a bit like a crossbreed between Zovaal and Murozond.

Well, this might have simply been the wish to provide a different raid mechanic ...
Lore-wise it is connected to the Shadowlands, in that the Scourge tried to harness/copy its mirror images of this realm.
Foot Soldiers/Casters => Necrolords
Venthyr => San'layn
Kyrian => Val'kyr
Nightfae => ?

Ok, let's start irrational hype Day 2.
It's today 7 PM. 100%.
I can see a tie in: Jailer is at Northrend. End of the raid is fighting Zovaal and preventing him from raising Galakrond (lich king tried in wotlk and failed). We stop the jailer, but he succeeds in ressing galakrond. Galakrond is not at full power and to regain it, he needs to look for MOAR POWA on the dragon isles and flies away.
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.
Putting Galakrond on the power level of the Jailer is a bit of a joke. The 5 Aspects defeated him with a pebble when they were only proto-drakes, even without the Titan blessings the 5 current Aspects are most definitely stronger than the original Aspects were as proto-drakes.
Khadgar could just teleport another rock into Galakrond's throat and it would be dead again.
Not sure why Galakrond is even seen as a valid plot line, the LK tried to raise him during WotLK by a rag-tag group of followers which we thwarted in a random and optional quest, Galakrond can't be all that if seemingly nobody even put any real effort into raising him/defending the efforts.

I'm pretty sure SL will end with Jailer fight in Icerown under shattered sky. But if SL end with 9.2, it will be just last phase of raid. I can see Northend as outdoor zone only for 9.3.
