Either Zovaal's runes are birthmarks (unlikely) or that body is Zovaal's with his soul/magic/anima taken out after his boss battle. Meaning something sucks out his soul.

Maybe Azeroth has a snack?

Knowing what we do during the battle, it's very much possible that Azeroth and us provide Zovaal with so much power he fucking explodes with it, while we don't cause the First Ones already scribed it or summ...

And yet, instead of GUARANTEEING that such a thing will never happen by murdering us or dominating us right now, he just walks off and expects it tooootally can't happen. It's fucking stupid when he's been touted as this Next Level 9th Dimension Grand Plotmaster the entire expansion. You're telling me he doesn't think there's even the slightest, tiniest, most remote possible chance we could find that? Despite the fact that his whole plan has been a case of threading the needle over and over again inside a haystack the size of a mountain that's also on fire?

That doesn't matter though. We've still BEATEN incredibly powerful beings, time and time again, despite all the odds saying otherwise. At this point, someone who should be intimately aware of everything we've done (since it's all part of his GRAND PLAN) ought to figure out that we are suspiciously good at being the supposed underdog. It's absolutely fucking stupid that a competent, intelligent enemy wouldn't be looking at us and NOT be shitting themselves just a little. It doesn't matter if he thinks he's on another level and his biggatons are better than ours, we've pulled power-ups and allied help out of our asses to do shit like obliterating Old Gods, demon generals, weakened Titans, and everything else. Sometimes we just do it on our own! He's underestimating us when it makes no god damn sense.

EDIT: Also, Sargeras was supposed to be "WoW's Satan", and was all the way up until this stupid fucking expansion. We ruined HIS plans too.

Regarding the Jailer, they know how much people don’t like him but have made zero attempts to flesh him out or advance him beyond a single story in the fables book (which just reveals he’s butthurt).

I don’t think they’re sniffing their farts but that’s he’s actually written to act like this. I don’t know if the intent is that he’s supposed to act robotic or they want a very very very simple villain to evoke Classic feels like Ragnaros or something that just is ebil and wants to kill you.

But considering how they have been reflexive with writing due to negative feedback in the past, and Jailer has never ever changed, either he’s meant to act like this or they just don’t think he matters enough to change. Which is probably the case as Sylvanas was the real major antagonist and the expansion kind of ends thematically at Sanctum.

Hades, Satan would ripped apart Baine body as if its toy, and then with bloody hands while being covered in tauren's innards, gouged eyes from heroes heads.

While Hades character just toying with puny mortals in his grand schemes to escape a Maw or any prison given his Jailer status.

Blizz probably does this because it’s a quick and easy way to make players dislike a villain, when they openly mock you and treat you like shit. Its an iconic part of Azshara, it worked VERY well for Nathanos (see: people still seething about him) and they tried to do it with Zovaal.

Who was the last villain who somewhat respected you and your power level? N’zoth? It doesn’t happen much in this game.

There's a difference between "openly mocking and treating you like shit" and "underestimating you and not actually bothering to stop you when they're easily able to do so". Like, this isn't about him making us feel bad, it's about him actually succeeding with his GRAND PLAN and achieving his ultimate goal. Are you trying to say he actually cares more about pissing on us and making us feel bad than his whole "rewrite reality" shtick?

No, the character intent is different, but the results are near the same: character says you’re nothing, he’s meanie, go kill him for that.

It isn’t logical, it is probably just to give retard players a baseline to kill this new OC character. Sylvanas was the real reason anyone went into this to kill a boss, you kind of already did that, clean up this bad guy and move on.

I would phrase that differently still, the grunt workers create nice work with the guidelines imposed on them, but frankly the whole "blocky machine-golem" thing is kinda lame imho, so at least the direction of the art team has been rather disapointing in this patch.

Grunt workers that need to color the trees or sample the audio are okish.


The megamind that decide WITHOUT PLAYING THEIR OWN GAME and this was proven during the investigation, that CONDUITS CONDUIT ENERGY or NO SWAP COVENANT are good system, those are the r clowns, no matter if they obey to the marketing team that diktate "more MAU" because i can give you 3 better system of horizontal content to pump MAU without doing the usual grind dogshit we get

Also, yes, this is a speculation thread. Not a "complaining about imagined slights" thread. Your claim doesn't even fit with reality, since we've not been dealing with ever increasing threats. It's been going up and down repeatedly. We're not even dealing with a more serious threat than in Legion, since their end goal is, from our perspective, fairly similar, as is how close they get to accomplishing it, yet we can fight Zovaal directly while Sargeras was beyond our capabilities even with the Artifacts.

For all they said about Titan+ to hype up the Eternals, the game has done everything to show that the Eternal Ones are weaker than Titans. I think this is actually the intent as you see a Constellar here to remind you that they exist as well.

We don’t even know who made the Titans as they aren’t robots/are born from planets instead of Zereths.

Majority of people have checked out of the expansion so it doesn’t matter what they do with Zovaal, he’s literally just an ant on the windshield that needs to be cleared before 10.0 trailer appears. Probably why they don’t care to change him at this point.

You aren't understanding what I'm saying. IT MAKES NO SENSE FOR HIM TO BE OVER CONFIDENT! He is THE GOD PLANNER who has steered our history in his favor for tens of thousands of years. He should know us better than we know ourselves. The fact that he will make such a massive, monumental blunder as this utterly annihilates any suspension of disbelief we could possibly have. It's terrible fucking writing. Just accept it.
