I'd say I distrust them as much as I generally distrust Towellie. Perhaps he has extra leverage, but we don't need him coming here again.

The overall problem in my eyes with the narrative is how it is presented and appears to be missing large sections. Its the same problem in a way with WoD in which they could have created large sections devoted to previous lore heroes / Villains but skipped all the meat, if say you got to see more important players in the story get discussed and showcased in shadowlands would have added more overall.

The other problem with the shadowlands is how long it takes to get around or from Oribos, BFA and Legion did this right with extremely large hub cities, people dont want to linger around they want to do the check list stuff in a quick orderly fashion and move onto the things they actually enjoy. Portals should have shopped with the first .5 patch even 9.1 to avoid the long ass flying times. This entire experience appears to me they have not learned a single lesson in the 17 years they have made this game.

Time between zones isn't that bad at all, its very minor. Of course they learned, don't be ridiculous and no I am not gonna say Boralus Harbor is better then Oribos cause frankly I don't. Also Legion reusing Dalaran I'd say is the easier route to and someone might accuse them of being lazy but I'm not going to go there.

Truthfully I rather have a new hub then reusing an old one IMO.

I have to agree, the minute long forced PF is about the worst design one could come up with. Spectacular for zone intro on the first quest that sends you there, but that should be the only time it happens.
Back in BfA/Legion, I really enjoyed flying circles around the continents just gathering herbs and travelling around, but this time around I just didn't care enough to switch between zones, or to constantly rotate around the same place.

Consider for instance an expansion where we go to the Dragon Isles and learn more about the Old Gods, the Void, and the eternal battle between them. Nozdormu turning into Murozond was afterall because of the Old Gods, so they would likely have to be relevant again if the Infinite Dragonflight returns.
Wrathion might be wanting to become the Earth Warder like Deathwing used to be, and in that position he would likely be interested in how to defend against cosmic forces like the Light and Void.
And of course there are the Void Dragons we saw in 8.3 that are still likely somewhat relevant.

It would undoubtedly be a weird disconnect to have such a heavy Void themed logo over what will likely be a whole lot of dragons, but then again it might also be exactly what Blizzard would have done with an expansion. Having something with 5 different colors to represent the five different flights would probably look weird, and something more firey might look too similar to the Cata logo.
This logo would be entirely distinct from the rest, which is probably important to someone.
There is the twilight flight which is purple

It will be different*. (* In some capacity there will be a difference between Shadowlands and 10.0)
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Because we didn't know anything about the Shadowlands at all. It would have been kinda hard to do something we could have connected with no prior knowledge. There is still a clear connection between the logo and the title.

On the other hand, we do know dragons. The logo has no dragon connections whatsoever. If it was about a void expansion it would make sense. For dragons? It doesn't.

The logo says the word "dragons" actually.

Are you guys really thinking the expansion is just going to be about Dragons & nothing else? The Dragonflight were created specifically to ward off void corruption.

Can't wait for the "Alex Afrasiabi is in the same prison than me. Here's what's next for WoW" leak.

Ok that was actually good one. "He leaked me next expansion to not get molested in the showers".

There should have just been portals to the various shadowlands zones, it sucks to look at nothing for a bit to the point of just tabbing out and watching a video or setting up music. Boralus being at a point where you can get to most of the zones on a flying mount is the point not having to always intersect with the hub city is awesome, its not efficient at all and serves no real purpose other then to extend time spent flying.

The fact that both Korthia AND Zereth Mortis have portals that you just walk into and you’re there. I’m sure they could have changed that for the 4 earlier zones in a .5 or .1/.2 patch

Thing is Zereth and Korthia(Maw) are made like that because lore wise they are in places of the Shadowlands that cannot be accessed in any other way but through the ancient wayshrines being activated to open a portal to Oribos. This is a big part of the intro lore for the Maw, Korthia and Zereth.

Why don't other zones have portals? Well denizens of the other lands of SL shouldn't be able to freely move between the afterlives once they are condemned to one.

Also I don't mind there being not a portal to every zone. WoW could do with less portals and not have every POI a portal away (like in Legion dalaran). Would be great if even the Zereth and Korthia portals weren't there but to get to Korthia we need to go through the maw, and to get to Zereth the flightmaster flies through the initial portal we open there (tho here it still makes sense that we have a portal down there since the original one got closed)

No, i'm not. Because i'm not talking about that. If the title was "Empire of the Void Dragons" or something else void related, you'd have a point, but it isn't, so you don't.

The crack is a throwback to Cata
The metal parts on the top sides are dragon horns
The metal part on the bottom is the end of a dragon flame breath

The purple background can be multiple things from void to symbolize “hey dragons have been pledging themselves to the void for a while maybe that flight gained power” or you can think about how you would get dark purple
    Red+Blue+Black
    Also the twilight flight
Multiple explanations exist but because the border doesn’t have anything dragony in it that means that it is immediately fake

Heck dude I’m this thread we have had people say it was fake because the globe was a copy of the Cata logo globe, it was fake because it used naaru symbols even though the symbols they showed were twice the size in terms of design and in the case of the lower symbol would require them to cut off a third of it and any pointy ends

Reaching very hard. I also find it weird you can somehow rationalize a metallic pointy bit as "part of a breath of flame" but somehow can't rationalize it being "part of a naaru".

What part of this logo screams deathwing or elementals or old gods?

Because saying “it’s a naaru symbol” in this case is like saying a dagger is a short sword

Tbf you could also turn it around and say that it is also dragon horns

It’s no more of a reach than the naaru symbol and doesn’t require removing half of the reference to fit

Because saying “it’s a naaru symbol” in this case is like saying a dagger is a short sword
it screams cataclysmic event, destruction and fire,

Which is what the expansion was about.
