Why has no one mentioned this yet? Dragons don't have an Empire and have never been referred to as an "Empire". Dragons have flights, not empires. That name doesn't make sense.

It is worth noting that, in the Ren'dorei player intro, Alleria Windrunner cites the Dragons as an example of creatures who could not resist the whispers of the Void and were broken.

Maybe she could appear in a Dragon expansion to mock and roast the Dragons, like the Queen she is

Perhaps it would be better not to respond to these kinds of posts until we see an actual variety of posting that doesn't somehow tie back to one character in some way or another.

That it doesn't match the theme is irrelevant. They're quite clearly bows.

Again, every WoW logo has that curve on its edge and a point. A streamlined logo would lend itself to looking like a bow by default.

And theme is obviously relevant. Titan matches the theme and the look perfectly. Various elven archers do not.

They are the insignificant outlier.

We have an entire flight of dragons that was corrupted by the Void, their Dragon aspect included.

I am looking at it more along the lens of it not having an empire THAT WE KNOW OF. One could be formed with the start of the expansion to counter the 'Evil' dragonflights.

It makes sense if we're talking about a merging of the black empire and one (or more) of the dragonflights, or a new dragonflight we haven't encountered. Voidwings would be a good candidate, since they're heavily corrupted versions of Twilight Dragons.

I think concepts like this where among favourites for a long time until blizzard shut them down saying they won't do a whole expansion underground. Exploring the nerubian empire was very popular for leaks for a while.
I can definetly see it happening when they find a creative solution for the missing sky.

That name makes as much sense as Shadowlands, Warlords of Draenor or Mists of Pandaria made sense.

By the way, going "inside" Azeroth which supposedly is a (female) sleeping Titan will not be a thing due to various reasons.

I'm not super up to date on 9.2 info but how ready is it to launch? What needs to still be implemented and tested before it's good to go on, say, Feb 15th?

Logo discussion bores me to tears but in either tides of war or war crimes the blue dragons say they are done guarding magic and that they are going to start something new so it could very well be a new up and coming empire where different flights come together after they lost there Titan given rolls.
