That's just a hard, baseless lie. Empty slander, and that's being generous.

The poor american leftwingers. they believe that they are morally superior while in reality they are the laughing stock of the world.

    Which . . . Biden's also talking about doing.

You do know that a government can push more than one policy point at a time, right? This isn't a case where you have to choose.
And 1 policy is good and another terrible.

    Doesn't happen.

This is an empty argument, always based on prophetic claims that don't hold up to actual scrutiny or the tides of history. Same as claims that laws banning child labor would lead to economic collapse. Or that ending slavery would do so. And so on. It's just empty rhetoric thrown at the argument, based on nothing, to try and forestall meaningful change that will improve conditions for the working class.
Lets ignore the Goebbel like propaganda shall we? Just implement it and see how it goes. And i will be here with the ´told you so´ sign.

Oh, "woke agenda", I'm getting a bingo.

The only people who complain about any "woke agenda" are prejudiced people who are angry they can't victimize and abuse those they hate without societal backlash any more.
You have to understand 1 thing. Woke is only a thing in America. The rest of the world just laughs at it.

Funny, Biden has been actually working on things. I know you don't live in this place called REALITY, but Biden has a plan.

Im fairly ancient and my first job paid me an incredible £2/hr and had overtime nearly every day which was unpaid, you were just expected to be there until all the work was done. That very same job still exists, only difference is it now pays between £4.50/hr and £9/hr depending on your age.

National minimum wage. I'm sure if you have more experience you can request more money (and more than likely be told to fuck off as there's plenty of other people willing to work for minimum)

This practice happens all over northern europe. A good way to gain valuable experience. But then again you dont need that much money because schools are actually schools and not luxury resorts.

Wait... if Biden is a conservative... while Trump called him a socialist communist... doesn’t that at least imply Trump is a fascist? You know... since Trump is so far right, that he thinks Biden is an extreme leftist?

    Dunno...
Biden is restoring protections and rights to our trans citizens. The puts him to the left of anyone in the UK.
Biden wants create a citizenship path to some 11 million immigrants. That puts him to the left of Die Linke.

How can we explain these positions to our European "Socialist" betters?

Welcome to America, we say Champ, not Chap.

Path to citizenship was an idea under Obama and restoring trans issues is just restoring an older position already held by the previous previous president.

Biden is a moderate but moderate is not left. We are just so far right.

    Yeah, nothing you said is true when put into proper perspective;

    https://www.khou.com/article/news/ve...e-9fd23f8d6258

There were 10,000 temporary jobs involved in the construction of Keystone, over 4-8 months. Then those jobs would vanish.

The total number of long-term jobs? About 50 or so. That's it. That's the long-term cost of ending Keystone; 50 fewer jobs.

Plus, if Biden can redirect measures into pushing green infrastructure, there's way more than 10,000 construction jobs to be had there. For a lot longer than 4-8 months.

It's worse; he dropped the quote tags, but he was responding to me there.

I'm not even American. As anyone could tell by glancing at the "location" bit on my profile on every single post I make. It's not like I'm hiding it.

Well, why do you guys like the government forcefully taking over private property?

I'll give you 24 hours to condemn it. Your failure to do so will be taken as an admission that you support it.

Considering you've failed to condemn many other things, and therefore support Nazism, racism, sexual assault, rape, attempted murder, and conspiracy theories... I'm not holding out much hope.

    Grats to Mayor Pete.

Hard to believe its the one year anniversary of his upset win in Iowa. Defeating the front runner who outspent everyone else.

Now our new Secretary of Transportation. Bike lanes for the proletariat plz.

This is worrying and proof the EC needs to be abolished:

    https://www.npr.org/2020/11/25/93724...record-turnout

Democrats have now won the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections. A Republican hasn't won it since George W. Bush's reelection in 2004.

And yet, Democrats have only won the presidency in five of those elections because of the Electoral College. Democrats are concentrated on the coasts and in cities, making it harder to win the White House than their popular vote margins might suggest.

In fact, in this election, Biden won the national popular vote by some 6 million votes so far, more than double Hillary Clinton's margin over Trump four years ago. But just 44,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin separated Biden and Trump from a tie in the Electoral College.

That number is going to keep rising.

Conservatives ideology is dying out and being replaced by uneducated paranoid conspiracies theorists.

It’s seems like it’s going to end up the educated/science group vs the willfully ignorant pseudoscience group.

It won’t change and GOP acknowledges this... they won one popular vote since the 90s... that’s one election in over 30 years...

Despite rising popular vote margin the votes that counted ... that margin shrunk from 2016 to now. Woe is America's electoral system.

This is part of why I have such a sense or urgency... it’s a bleak situation.
