I'd rather fight for allowing student bankruptcy again. It helps the former students and forces the predatory schools to eat it.

But honestly, we're arguing with people that got the Social Work degree from Reed or USC. When they coulda gotten a comparable degree from Portland State. Alas you dont get to socialize with that slightly higher level of gatekeepers. Was the higher tuition worth it? Does it come with more clout in online spaces?

Sorry they got duped by the recruiters. Here's the same $10k that everyone else is getting.
Pretty much this exactly. Some of those higher tier universities don't even offer significantly better degrees than state universities or even local colleges. An associates degree in computers is going to help you get more money than a history or philosophy or art master's degree ever could. But of course, I am heavily criticized for wanting to revamp the entire system, to teach students better management of their own education, to punish institutions that overcharge and are basically predatory gatekeepers with slightly more clout. That's the thing people don't get. Just batch paying off student debt isn't going to fix anything at all. Give me a bill with a lot more to fix the system.

And hope that the badly laidout US cities don't get you deaded by the cars. Even if the bike is far supperior to the car in a city, and ought to be the primary personal conveyance. (A thing Europe has started to realize and try to switch over to giving priority).

President Joe Biden will hold a moment of silence in honor of the 500,000 lost to COVID-19.

He is not expected to use the terms CHINA VIRUS CHINA VIRUS CHINA VIRUS, hoax, or "it is what it is".

Man, you Trumpsters are really desperate in your attempts to deflect for your fuhrer.

At the end of the day, it really just means you have no coherent arguments to defend why you've opted to stick with him for so long.

Here, a response worthy of yours:

Says the guy pushing conspiracy theories while he literally supported a Chinese puppet in Trump.

Trump gave them a higher trade deficit than we have ever had, gotten 10s of millions from them in a secret bank account, a lot of his shitty products including his shitty hats are made in China, his daughter got dozens of patents by being Daddy's little princess in a position she should not have had, and probably tons of other things.

To say that Biden is owned by China, without evidence, when we have his fucking tax returns for 22 years before he became president, is fucking asinine.

It's a sad state of affairs when we think that the idea of federal/external aid for people during a disaster not being held hostage to partisan bullshit is newsworthy. Hopefully the novelty of that will wear off after a couple more months of relatively competent people in charge...

Well it has to be newsworthy....I mean some people believe Biden himself was responsible for the freezing pipes in Texas.

ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY. There is no comparison between him and Trump.

And EVERYTHING in this post right here, is a conspiracy theory: https://www.mmo-champion.com/threads...1#post53031214

You claim that Biden is making money from China, all evidence points to that you are wrong. Only fringe conspiracy sites push that bullshit.

Now, unless you want to back up your claims, by all means, try. I want to laugh.

Seriously? That's what you're going with? That the man born with a silver spoon in his mouth, who got started with millions of dollars in "loans" from his father, who is legendary for refusing to pay his workers, is a product of the people? Well, I suppose in sense you're right. George Carlin did once remark that stupid, dishonest politicians come from stupid, dishonest people.

Remember, politics is a figment of your imagination. It's not a science, for starters. It's the art of rhetoric, at best. It's bullshitting. Biden is mediocre at it.
I'll give you this much, there is a lot of bullshitting inherent in politics and Donald Trump was a fucking MASTER at it.

Biden... lied into firing tens of thousands of hard-working people the first week, with no plan to help these folks find jobs. Way to go.
If you're talking about the Keystone Pipeline, this is blatantly false. Biden did not fire tens of thousands of people. He canceled a project that theoretically would have temporarily hired thousands of people, who will almost certainly get hired for other projects instead because the demand for construction workers exceeds the supply.

at least they want to empower people, not keep them underfoot.
...He says about the party that wants to cut funding for healthcare and education and claims it's going to prop up dying industries instead of helping people retrain in more relevant fields?

Hey, his four years (if he's lucky) will be great. We can use the crap outta his administration for free money, then get someone real back up in there, someone with some common sense, someone like Tulsi, who's dropped being a Democrat for good reason. I grew up years ago, stopped following that cult of a party, because it doesn't work, and neither do the extremes on the other side, but at least they want to empower people, not keep them underfoot.

This is a thread for the pedophile and the prostitute we have in office, right? The scales have to balance.

And backing up claims... with what? All the crap out there people call "facts"? Use your common sense, your intuition. This is a place for your opinions, there's no need to rely on others. I don't care about his tax returns. He could have have stolen George McFly's and used them as his own, for all we know. How does a man, like Joe, whose accomplished jack shit in his entire life, make so much money?
Hey, another post of yours that warrants a dismissive Pixar quote:

Though I would leave out the “and you have my pity” part of that quote because the rank and awful priorities and decision making of people like you in the 2016 election lead to the deaths of 500,000 Americans, a major dissolution of American power across the globe, and an economy flushed down the drain, all heralded by your “outsider” poster boy Donald Trump whose goal was so obviously only ever to enrich himself that you’d either have to be blindingly stupid, willfully ignorant or in on the grift to be a supporter of his. Either way such views have no place in politics.

I thank God wiser, smarter and more compassionate people prevailed in 2020. Perhaps your ilk will have our pity when a sort of dawned epiphany occurs to you about how badly you not only fucked up on a personal, moral level, but fucked up the country as a whole and by extension what damage you did to the world. But until then, it is my sincerest prayer that enough of those wiser, smarter and kinder people can effectively deny you and the people like you the political harm you both actively wish and will tacitly accept for the foreseeable future so the adults can go back to running things and fixing the mistakes you made.

As for trump himself, Godspeed to the courts of New York and all the other judicial bodies who actively have their sights set on Trump. He won’t have his lackeys on those juries to acquit him like the feckless senate GOP.
