Then the USA blocks the UN once over.... so placating words but little in the way of actions. Sounds like the before Trump times. There is no solace in that.

Biden see's Trump's photo-op behind the wheel of a big-rig, and raises him taking an electric Ford F-150 around the track a few times. You know, doing something rather than just posing with a prop. Does anyone know if Trump can even drive a car? : P

Pointless fluff, but it's normal pointless fluff. Which is good.

Pretty sure that supplying a belligerent force with weapons that puts one's family at risk is a little more concerning than whether or not they do it politely.

Agreed. And imagine then being the GOP. Where there's a hot topic issue that the President is being hammered on, yet you can't say shit.

Biden re-instates climate change advisor Trump reassigned. Trump moved him to the Department of Energy, and replaced him with climate-change deniers who work in polluting industries.

I can’t think of a reason he would need to learn to drive a car... plus, with bone spurs, it must be uncomfortable.

I am glad Joe Biden has quieted some of the more warlike voices amidst his own party and is advancing the Nordstream pipeline project. Hopefully these economic bonds can lead to peace and trust. Pleasantly surprised by the old geezer.

not sure where to put this, but interesting article on latino swing voters:

    https://www.vox.com/policy-and-polit...-florida-texas

New data helps explain Trump’s gains among Latino voters in 2020

Democrats can’t afford to take Latino voters for granted.

Conventional wisdom long dictated that if Latino voters show up to vote, they will overwhelmingly support Democrats. But a recent report with more details on the 2020 election results suggests the reality is more complicated.

It was clear after the election that Trump had made gains among Latino voters in places like Florida’s Miami-Dade County and Texas’s Rio Grande Valley. The newest and most detailed data yet shows that the trend was nationwide. According to a recent report by the Democratic data firm Catalist, the number of Latinos who cast votes increased by 31 percent from 2016 to 2020, accounting for a 10th of the electorate. A comfortable majority of Latinos — an estimated 61 percent — supported President Joe Biden, but there was about an 8 percentage-point swing toward Trump, based on data on votes cast for either the Democratic or Republican nominees in 2016 and 2020.

The data shows that many Latino voters, who represent the fastest-growing share of the electorate, are not firmly part of the Democratic base. Instead, they seem to be persuadable voters, presenting a potential opportunity for both Democrats and Republicans. This is especially true for voters who aren’t hyperpartisan: new and infrequent voters, as well as people who flipped their votes in 2020 or who decided to sit the election out entirely.

Democratic losses among Latinos likely already lost the party congressional seats in 2020. If Democrats are to maintain control of Congress in the midterms, sustaining and growing their support among Latinos will be key.

Only read what you quoted, but honestly that isn't new information. Not even for the GOP. Since the 2008 election of Obama the GOP internal reviews have been "we should start courting the latino communities as they tend to be socially conservative and are a great fit for that wing of our party and we can easily pick them up".
Instead they have kept going full frontal racist.

well the new part is that apparently support among latinos for the GOP has increased in spite of that.

The US is a big country and there are fine nuances to just saying support among latinos for the GOP has increased. This article has a good breakdown.

Chart: How U.S. Latinos Voted in the 2020 Presidential Election

Nationally, the number of both Democratic & GOP Latino voters increased from 2016. Trump’s second biggest gain is in FL (+12%) driven by Cuban American. In TX it was +6% mostly from border counties, however his total margin of victory decreased from 2016. I saved the state with the most GOP Hispanic gain, GA with +14%, the last. Because Trump is the first GOP presidential candidate to lose Georgia since Carter won the election. Due to an increase in Black voters participation, and more than threefold increase in AAPI electorate (from 1% in 2016 to 4% in 2020). Which more than enough to offset the GOP Latino votes gain. That’s how Trump lose GA by 120k votes and McConnel lose his majority seat.

Yes. CA hates Trump. Even CA Hispanic votes buck the trend. Trump support among CA Hispanics dropped by 3% from 2016.

Biden was supposed to be driven in the F-150, but he ended up just taking over. Also to be fair to Trump, driving a big rig requires a totally different skill set than an F-150.

I was browsing Tiktok today, and I just literally had someone tell me today, that when Joe Biden was test driving that Ford F-150 Lightning the other day, that it wasn't actually Joe Biden driving that, that it was someone else remotely piloting it.

And I asked them for a source, and they literally linked me Gateway Pundit.

The fact that people like Newsweek and other fact checkers have to fact check this, is so fucking sad.

Because an F-150 is hard to drive?

I've driven a heavy diesel Silverado that was probably harder to drive than that thing, and that Silverado was dead easy to drive.

"Biden has a skill that pretty much any 16-year old can master" is not the alarm-bell-ringing crazy idea that should make you doubt your eyes.

No, they think he wasn't driving at all. Just because the test truck has a 2nd steering wheel in it.

You guys keep forgetting, they only accuse others of shit they would do. With this, they know Trump can't drive and to make it more palatable to them, they believe no politician can drive and would fake it by any means necessary.

Yeah, when Trump was shown vehicles, you never saw him actually drive any of them, he just pretended like a fucking toddler.
