I agree that a comparison to FDR is premature.
But President Biden has accomplished a lot more than what I was expecting, and has worked very hard for more. His speech on the troops leaving Afghanistan was about as supportive of this policy as he could reasonably get away with. He has used the bully pulpit repeatedly to support getting more money to the middle class and working class. Trump supporters that make less than $50k a year have to answer to "What's wrong with you that you won't take the money that President Biden is trying to put into your hands?"
The business community went into a full court press attacking his stimulus packages, and President Biden has pretty much held them to a standoff. Of COURSE there are tons of articles talking about how the evil horrible stimulus package is destroying the US economy - for example by convincing people to stay at home and not work.
And there have been enough articles about businesses that solved this problem by offering higher salaries, and how little they had to raise prices to accommodate the higher expenses. There have been enough articles about how the stimulus package has been useful in helping people put food on the table, and get much needed medical care. This is a HUGE turnaround from how these "debates" happened in the past.
The debate on infrastructure is not over. But it used to be a slam dunk win for republicans - we aren't going to pass it, and democratic attempts to do so prove they are fit to govern and should be removed from power. Now republicans are majorly back pedaling and having to answer "WHY CAN'T WE HAVE OUR INFRASTRUCTURE?" There is the possibility that enough republicans will sign on to a few of the items from the democratic wish list.
President Biden has changed the tone of the country. Whether it's enough remains to be seen, and I would put these odds at less than half. But he has done more than I ever would have expected, and considering the circumstances better than anyone else would be doing at this point.
Would the FDR version have included means testing, by excluding farm and restaurant workers?
Let me get my seat belt on before everyone turns this into the trolley problem again.

Sure..that brexit was a mess. And now...well, the rest of the world is still wondering when the punchline will be delivered.

In your little rant you somehow miss the actual horrible things the US has done.
Bravo.

I love how he said that the US was being laughed at under Biden when under Trump, he was LITERALLY laughed at for lying at an international summit, fled a G7 when a video of the other leaders making fun of him surfaced, and made America look weak when he coward like a bitch to Putin at Helsinki. Or while Bush Jr destroyed our image with his actions toward the war or when Trump destroyed it with his multiple actions as well.
Instead he goes for the guy stuck cleaning up their mess whom the other leaders have even complimented about having an adult in charge again.

Let me guess. Trump was a "strong brave leader"

USA being bad at soccer, at least on the men's side, has got to be the biggest political atrocity ever.

BIDEN'S FAULT we send our 4th tier basketball players and they can hardly handle them.....
Meanwhile didn't the UK just choke in football?
As far as a president who can't speak properly, are you talking about the current or the mumbling making up words last president? bigly?

its very telling that he ignores the women side of soccer. Typical man from the right.

Buh Byeeeeeeeeeeee !!
That moment when a non-American cosplaying an American thinks that Americans give anywhere near as much of a shit about football/soccer as the rest of the world, and uses that as some kind of "dunk" attempt. And forgets that the US Women's soccer/football team kicks ass.
May as well be complaining that the US Cricket team isn't a contender. Because nobody here understands cricket. You need to understand crumpet before you understand cricket, and we haven't reached that point yet.

Didn't you guys literally just lose Euro 2021 to Italy despite having invented football?
Casting stones in a glass house and all that.
