43% approval rating! Doing pretty damn good huh?
Where's Kamala the cackling hyena, the border czar? Flipping coins at football games?

    Most popular president ever.

Where is it that he has 43%? Because that is still better than Trump. Let me guess? Rasmussen? Because his average is still 46.3% and still better than Trump averaged from start to end. And Kamala is actually doing things, instead of being a fucking useless bitch like Pence was.

Meh...Biden has the the political capital to spend. And the time to take to recover.

Trump’s approval rating remained within the same 9-point range for his entire presidency: 47 percent at its highest in October 2018, and 38 percent at its lowest in October 2017.

He would need to do something quite extraordinary to recover after the shitshow of Afghanistan.

If he issues a strong condemnation of ICE and border patrol with the Haitian immigrant situation combined with actual action on the subject, he’ll gain some percentage points.

Also, still trying to lay 100% of the Afghanistan blame at Biden’s feet? Weak.

Has nothing to do with Afghanistan. I mean technically it IS the event that triggered it. But if it weren't Afghanistan it would be something else. People are already forgetting about Afghanistan, and in a month it will be forgotten.

Republicans waited for anything even remotely bad to happen to the US, and then used that to jump on him. No President is going to get through 4 years unblemished. If anything, it's amazing that President Biden had ratings as high as they were for as long as they were. In today's America, that is truly remarkable.

His approval rating will never get above say 52% going forward. The divisions in America guarantee that. If a republican ever becomes President again, that President will face the same issue.

People aren’t going to remember the Afghanistan withdrawal in two months, let alone three years.

    Pretty much.

All the news pundits freaking out about this approval rating don't seem to realise that the drop has been among political independents and those people have shorter memories than a goldfish because their participation in politics is largely a leisure activity rather than a function of them actually having a stake and needing to pick a side.

You're not "playing devil's advocate", you're making someone who is likely speaking from personal experience defend themselves against the shitty and oppressive opinion you're too embarrassed to admit you actually believe in. It's you. You're the devil.

Not to mention that the group of people that disapprove of Biden because they think he’s not progressive enough, and the group of people that disprove of Biden because they think he’s a secret socialist satan worshipper trying to give people Chinese 5g via the vaccine, probably won’t be voting for the same candidate come next election.

But no see the people that don't like Biden's treatment of immigrants or Congress being shitty about its funding bills are totally going to go full fash, Politico said so. /s

How was it a shitshow? It was Trump's plan, except Biden brought the people out that helped us and their families. You know the white nationalists of the Trump admin wouldn't have done that, especially after what happened to the fucking Kurds.
