This is pretty innumerate and historically illiterate. There isn't some evil capitalist conspiracy to deprive veterans (I linked the massive increase in spending on them a couple posts back), there are simply many fewer active duty troops than there used to be, resulting in fewer troops remaining.
And again, they aren't providing solutions. They're saying "no, we wont pass this" because it is a purely political maneuver.
They don't want the democrats to have yet another legislative victory, because the GOP's platform is predicated entirely around claiming that the democrats can't get anything done and that's why you need to elect republicans to enact their nebulous, nonspecific platform of making all the scary people go away. Which is why they aren't saying "no we wont pass this form of the bill, but we're willing to engage in dialogue to ensure it passes..." and instead they're saying "evil dems changed a sentence so now we can't support helping out burn pit-related health issues, blame the democrats."
There is no legitimate concern about budgetary spending here, because no solution purporting such has been presented, because if it were it would be passed and the GOP is afraid that people would tally that up as a "victory" for the dems.

Who says that getting the vaccine meant you wouldn't catch COVID?
Getting the vaccine means you're more likely to survive, and less likely to spread, COVID. Which... you are. I mean, the vaccinated Trump survived his bout with COVID, and he's an old, exceptionally unhealthy fatass. And while his likely death from it had he not been vaccinated would have served a poignant morality lesson and certainly spared us a lot of unnecessary hassle and resulted in more capitol police being alive, modern medical science saved the day.
My god you people are bad at dunking on Biden. Go back to complaining about hamburger prices or whatever.

And what's your point?
Regardless of his generalizations, getting the vaccine is still an eminently good thing. It is not remotely the same thing as making a false claim while supporting policies that are explicitly harmful to public health as anti-vaxxers are wont to do.
As said, go back to complaining about hamburger prices or w/e.
holy shit, we actually have the nofly list. holy fucking bingle. what?! :3
...in which he had stated that you "weren't likely to get sick" in the same exchange.
See, that's the thing about you right wingers when you attempt some sort of "gotcha." Your people have said so, so, so much worse, and you don't care when they say it, so any attempt at moralizing when someone left-wing says something misleading (in the context of presenting it accurately, no less) that your petty flippancy can safely be excused as meaningless. Frankly, so long as Biden isn't touting horse dewormer, he's already doing better than your guy. Who got vaccinated anyway.
Again, go back to bitching about hamburgers.

Biden discussing Paxlovid after testing negative for WuFlu, before testing positive again a few days later.
I wish him another speedy recovery.Originally Posted by Defeater of Corn Pop

Picking a single statement when he said multiple things in the same town hall about the vaxx.
He was mistaken on one of his sentences but the other two were correct with one being exaggerated.
So, he exaggerated in the first.Calling on Americans to get vaccinated against Covid-19, Biden said, "If you're vaccinated, you're not going to be hospitalized, you're not going to be in the ICU unit and you're not going to die." In another exchange moments later, Biden said that even if vaccinated people do "catch the virus," they are "not likely to get sick."
But then, during a third exchange, Biden said that since the vaccines "cover" the highly transmissible Delta variant of the virus: "You're not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations."
Was right in the second.
Wrong in the last.
But you picked out the last part from your selective memory huh?
How many times since this one has, he claimed that the vaccines would prevent you from getting covid? Any? Zero? Zilch?
It's possible he has flubbed it again, but you make it seem like this has been something they are pushing as fact and standard when talking about the Covid vaccine.
Biden, His administration, CDC, Vaccine Manufacturers, public releases, all news channels, doctors, etc etc have all made it clear what the vaccine will do.
but then again what is expected from the right. They hold on tight to any little thing they can to push their narrative since they are still bitter, they lost. Rather win the next game...i mean...umm... election, then actually communicate accurately to help the citizens of this country and prevent deaths.
Buh Byeeeeeeeeeeee !!
Nope I voted for him unlike you. But I've been disillusioned with his performance and prefer kamala to take over
