I think the Hunter thing is backfiring. No Democrats I know are saying to go easy on him or not investigate him for wrongdoing.

The problem is he’s not in any way part of Joe Bidens administration. Attacking Joe for trying to be there for his son isn’t a good look. Joe winning or losing wouldn’t be tied to him.

Just like Trump being convicted.

People who are already going to vote for either aren’t going to be swayed.

Personally I’d vote for Biden under any circumstances. Unless he committed treason.

This will come down to those in the middle.

But his age is a serious concern for many voters, and I hope people can realize that, accept it as not a slight against Biden in anyway, and respectfully find a new nominee.
