They already told the crewmembers rushing by that they needed a refresh on their drinks and the ship should be turned to better catch the sun, and the crew are just too busy patching these "holes" they're worried about to do the bare minimum for their comforts!

You can't motivate those people. They'll continue to be politically indolent until the water's lapping at their own heels, and by then it'll be far too late to make any difference. The closer we get to the election the more it becomes clear our only hope is Trump fumbling the bag with his big mouth in order to lose. Biden was never good at campaigning even when he was much younger, he seems to be permanently stuck in an era that no longer exist. Trump isn't some kind of anomaly he is the republican party even after he is gone they will continue to follow his template.

I doubt that the Democrat party is going to learn its lesson when they decide to push for a specific canidate. H Clinton was even a worse campaigner and instead of looking inwards the party and a great chunk of the voters (those that carry Bidens water now) spend more time blaming everyone else.

In a sweeping change that could improve millions of Americans’ ability to own a home or buy a car, the Biden administration will propose a rule Tuesday to ban medical debt from credit reports.

The rule, which will be announced by Vice President Kamala Harris and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra, comes as President Joe Biden beefs up his efforts to convince Americans his administration is lowering costs, a chief concern for voters in the upcoming election.

The plan builds on ongoing IRS efforts to increase audits on the wealthiest taxpayers, large corporations and complex partnerships.
