Speaking of debates, odd that the “not the sharpest tool in the shed” Harris danced around Trump and made him look like a fool. So much so that he wimped out of debating her ever again.

Last I checked, a potato isn't capable of attempting to overturn election results in a hissy fit or loading the Courts with more insane/corrupt justices. So yeah, Potato>Trump.

Has the potato been used to rape anyone? Does it wear a red hat (or a white hood)? I understand these are major pluses for Republican voters. Spray paint that potato orange and we just might be looking at the next leader of the Republican Party.

So far most of the takes are that Harris nailed it and Baier interrupted her. That is the majority take of everyone posting because everyone here hates Trump. The fact that she brought up Trump more then her own policies means she is running on an anti Trump campaign and not a pro Harris campaign. She had ample opportunity and declined every time to tout her policies and instead mentioned Trump....just like everyone here. No one on her mentioning that the always touted talking point of Republicans voting down the immigration bill was hurt by the mention that Democrats ALSO voted it down. She looked uncomfortable when he asked if she was sorry about the murder and she was very.....soulless in her response.

If Joe Biden is so cognitive, why did they force him to drop out of the election? He has better political instincts and actually comes across as likeable. Joe Biden always had a better chance of beating Trump because he already did it once and had people actually vote for him for President, Harris couldn't even make it to a primary running for President. So again, if Joe Biden has his faculties, why replace him? You can't say he was bad in the debate and looked in decline and then say he is fully aware.

    Better questions:
    1) Why even go on Fox News? She has never done a non over the top friendly interview. Why now? Everyone knows Fox is not going to softball question her, so why even go on the network?

    2) Why are black men, especially young black men disenchanted with here? Why is Obama insulting them thinking it will make them vote for her?

I get that every post here is filtered through Trump hatred and you have 2 threads about him, but maybe if you guys actually knew common people outside this Trump hating circle you would find out why people dislike her. Or maybe not.

If poor baby Trump doesn't want to be attacked maybe he shouldn't have been a shit lord his entire life making an "anti trump campaign" a viable strategy.

Because in the end, it isn't anti-Trump, or pro-Harris, the moment he came down his golden escalator its has been about truth vs lies. People here overwhelmingly believe in the truth, because there is a shared common sense with the ability to quickly do our own research. If you are pro-Trump, you are accepting that you either believe in his lies, or they don't matter to you. Which is just wrong.
That, and many, many, more things.

Or she was interviewing on a pro-Trump network which routinely sanewashes his antics. For some Fox viewers, that may be the first time they've actually heard someone speaking the truth about him. That's what it might take to break through some of the cultural brainwashing that's gone on in some of the deep red neighborhoods.

Nobody could "force him to drop out". He agreed to drop out. And "cognitive decline" is hardly the only potential reason why people might think that a change of candidate was warranted. Your inability to come up with any other possible scenario is just a shortcoming of your own reasoning skills.

A poll just released showed support for Harris among Black voters in swing states at 84% to 8%.

Even the NYT/Siena national poll discussed recently shows support for Harris among Black men at 70% to 20% and among Black youths ages 18-29 at 72% to 21% and even higher for ages 30-44 at 79% to 15%.

Harris owns Baier so hard in the interview, he apologized in public.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier said Thursday that he made “a mistake” in not including a specific clip of Trump during his interview with Vice President Harris the day prior.

During his interview with the vice president on Fox News’s “Special Report,” Harris and Baier sparred over a clip concerning Trump’s “enemy from within” comments about political rivals.

Baier showed a clip that came from a town hall broadcast earlier in the day via Fox News’s “The Faulkner Focus” in which Trump said he is “not threatening anybody.”

“That clip was not what he has been saying about the enemy from within. … That’s not what you just showed,” Harris said to the Fox News anchor. “You didn’t show that, and here is the bottom line: He has repeated it multiple times, and you and I both know that, and you and I both know he has talked about turning the military on the American people.”

Baier said on “Special Report” on Thursday that he “did make a mistake” when it came to clips shown in the interview.

“I want to say that I did make a mistake,” Baier said, with Harris Faulkner also on his show, in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “When I called for a sound bite, I was expecting a piece of ‘the enemy from within,’ from Maria Bartiromo’s interview, to be tied to the piece from your town hall, Harris, where you asked the former president about ‘the enemy from within.’”
Yep. Baier "made a mistake" by showing an unrelated, misleading clip. Harris called him out to his face, and he cowed like a bitch.

Meanwhile, Trump was given softball questions by a room packed with supporters, and chose to dance for 40 minutes.

Not to mention, Harria could literally pull out her phone, pull up Youtube and play the clip.

Its absolutely exhausting the way the Media is behaving. I expect this shit from Fox mind you, but its hardly limited to them. The concerted effort to paint Trump as positively as possible, even with how fucking hard he makes it, would in my mind, call for government investigation, and perhaps some breaking up of companies. Not that our government will DO that of course, but they damn well deserve it.

And above all, it’s kind! It’s just that.. Just kind."

You do realize both could be true...right? Sure bias is going to skew your perception, such as the people who say Trump won the debate against Harris when he very obviously did not.

The fact that she brought up Trump more then her own policies means she is running on an anti Trump campaign and not a pro Harris campaign.
And? Trump is still running and anti-Biden campaign. Politicians throw mud at their opponents. That's what they do and it's actually SMART to be anti-one of the lowest rated presidents in history.

No one on her mentioning that the always touted talking point of Republicans voting down the immigration bill was hurt by the mention that Democrats ALSO voted it down.
    Which party is anti-immegration again?

she was very.....soulless in her response.
for someone making accusations about bias skewing perception you got a might torn up glass house from all those stones you threw.

why did they force him to drop out of the election?
No one can be forced to withdraw from an election.

He has better political instincts and actually comes across as likeable.
Oh? Likeability matters? I got some bad news about your candidate then...

Joe Biden always had a better chance of beating Trump because he already did it once and had people actually vote for him for President, Harris couldn't even make it to a primary running for President.
How is the weather on island "I'm making things up against all polling and analysis to the contrary?"

So again, if Joe Biden has his faculties, why replace him?
Strategically? Because he was losing. Badly. Because the perception was he was in decline. Neither you, nor I, nor anyone on these forums actually knows how much that is true but the perception is out there. Funny enough it's now a perception Trump is fighting against and why the race is so close.

You can't say he was bad in the debate and looked in decline and then say he is fully aware.
Sure you can if you can recognize that people get ill, people have off days, etc.

For what it's worth I do think Biden is in decline. I think Trump is as well. I think nearly anyone in their 80s is in some form of physical and/or mental decline. It's not ageist - it's biological reality.

    1) Why even go on Fox News?
Because people crunched numbers, did analysis, and thought it was a path to getting more votes. This isn't a hard question. The real question is was the risk of going into hostile territory worth the potential benefit? Clearly someone thought so.

    2) Why are black men, especially young black men disenchanted with here?
The same reason Trump is so popular. Misinformation, misogyny, racism, xenophobia, economic illiteracy, or just plain apathy.

I get that every post here is filtered through Trump hatred and you have 2 threads about him, but maybe if you guys actually knew common people outside this Trump hating circle you would find out why people dislike her. Or maybe not.
Oh, I'm pretty sure we know why people hate her. The conservative psyche isn't nearly as impenetrable as you want to pretend.

Right, Chuck and Nancy would never go to Biden and tell him the will 25th amendment him if he doesn't drop out. Never do that. He still is mad they made him drop out. You can keep your head in the sand but everyone knows they covered up for his decline and they forced him out. The weird part is he still would have a better chance to win then Harris

Or like most of you, i'll just ignore stuff people post. Harris past up the opportunity to roast Trump to his face at the Al Smith dinner. How do you pass that up? How do none of you remark on that?
