My understanding is that sepsis doesn't synergize with anything, so it won't proc subterfuge.
Tonight for me is a special day. I want to go outside of the house of the girl I like with a gasoline barrel and write her name on the road and set it on fire and tell her to get out too see it (is this illegal)?

It shouldn't. It's supposed to just be a stealth move without its synergies
Looks like night fae is the best option though which is kind of lame

Looking at RH Discord, the difference seems to be that minor you can get away with picking whatever unless you absolutely care about the 15 DPS or so.
