I’m 22 and I definitely don't look my age. When I was a teenager I was very complex because of it. When I was in high school, my friends looked 18 at 16 and I looked 13-14 at 16. Of course, I looked like a child next to them. The boys paid attention to them, called them for a walk, and I was such a gray mouse. But now I'm not a teenager and it doesn't bother me much. I'm 23 and I look 19. And maybe that's not a bad thing, because I'll always look younger than I really am. When I'll be 40, it will help me a lot.

I'm 47, but am often told I look like I'm in the mid to late 20s. (I tend to avoid the sun like the plague, so that helps a lot.)

It's the most amusing when I have to go to a doctor's visit and there's a new PA checking me in. They often do a double-take when I confirm my date of birth, asking me to repeat it. Followed by something akin to "really? Wow." If I were a woman, I'd probably be flattered. But as a man, I'm a bit disappointed by it as we tend to get more distinguished as we age. The only thing I have going for me in that regard is the greying at my temples, but that just looks fake when your actual face looks relatively young.

It varies greatly due to health issues and unusual size (2.05m); when i was 16 people thought i looked 35, when i was 25 they thought 18, now i am 29 and just recently someone commented i look 21 or so.

Oddly enough people always comment that i look good when i feel the worst.

There's a reason stereotypes and memes exist of guys using "good for hair, face, scrot, degreasing engines, and scouring battleships" shampoo and having fabulous hair, while simultaneously pointing out hair products aimed at women require half a dozen different bottles, each specially tailored to one specific aspect. And it's not just because it's funny.

My personal opinion (backed up by exactly zero data and only my personal experience) is that the more chemicals you throw at your body, the worse the end product is going to be.

I'm not entirely disagreeing with you. More of what I'm saying is that it's not really good to tell people that moisturizing/exfoliating is going to magically make you look younger. Your genes are going to dictate that to a significantly higher degree. Dump a crocodile in moisturizer 24/7, and he's still going to look like a crocodile; maybe with just a slightly better hide. There's a reason the vast majority of models still look remarkably good once you wipe off all the make-up.

Whilst this is good advice in general, I feel like it completely misses the point. I've seen guys who are definitely in shape who look 10 years younger than their actual age, going to the gymn does not make you look older. Sometimes you just are what you are, nothing to be ashamed about.
