    Rise of radicalism worrying

I think it's pretty worrying that people are joining altright, neonazist and other groups. Don't they realize they are seeking easy answers provided by demagogues, easy answers to hard problems so to speak. Rampant antisemitism too. I find it rather worrying that it is happening again despite it was only 80 years ago since WW2. Fascism only leads to genocide, imperialism, authoritarianism, brutal repression and no free press.
Again, i find it rather worrying. I just want to preserve our functioning republic.

    Which Republic?
The problems you mention are across the pond as anywhere.

As long as companies like a FOX news or a Facebook can profit off of radicalization, it's going to continue as a problem.
Welcome to GEN-OT, have a seat, we'll introduce you to the 23-year-old who will lecture you about how Democrats didn't try hard enough to improve the ACA, and once that's all set up you'll be assigned a socialist who supported Ron Paul up to 2015 to harass you forever.

Make it not cool... like have a child anamorphic cartoon character have it as a catch phrase. Like a goofy lizard on a surf board screaming “Burn it all down”...

They really can't help but show disdain for the working class.

Younger generations are being brought up in a more socially liberal world, and I don’t see that changing. I predict that we’ll eventually get to a point where even being a Republican, is not acceptable in society anymore.

That will be an awesome time to live in.

Ah, yes, opposing fascism is the real problem.

What do you expect when people call me a white straight male that is born with white supremacy and only got things in his life because of my skin color.
Ofc i become more radical and the more you push me the more i will start to resist, and this is the result of the left and that they are very racist toward white people btw.

I'm far more concerned with the radicalization of the left than I am the right, especially as it's socially acceptable to be a radical leftist.

lol it's just paranoia. All society has to do is convince people to never be violent and coercive and to judge people purely based on the individual. If we do that then the extremists and authoritarians will go away. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

For the time being the far right worry me more as they have far more political power, the crazy left have more cultural power but have been unable so far to translate it into the kind of political power that the right has.

If the right or left doesn't control both chambers of Congress and the presidency then I don't understand why anyone would be concerned about that.

I’m a straight white male and have no clue what you are talking about. Who is telling you this shit and why do you believe them?

Yeah, why don’t people complain about extreme altruism? Why is that acceptable and money worship isn’t?
