Folly and fakery have always been with us... but it has never before been as dangerous as it is now, never in history have we been able to afford it less. - Isaac Asimov

I already did, his post was about populism. You don’t get it... not my problem... you want to be confused for a Trump supporter more? By all means... just ignore what I said...
Edit: I ask question, because the idea behind it, is that you are smart enough to figure out what was wrong, based on answering it. When you tell me to answer it for you, you are asking me to tell you what to think... instead of your own ability... Yet... you interpret that as pretentious... all power to you my friend...
Oh well...

Whine about a poster? I don’t know... his signature wasn’t on topic, nor the avatar... so... other than whining about a poster... I can’t tell... Derive some sort opinion of him, based on something out of context or your lack of understanding?

How so? Are you sure you are not proving mine? You think switching posters you whine about, is somehow off brand? Google the meaning of the song...
Edit: Now I know you are not Italian... I’m guessing then, you understood the lyrics of the Russian song? Since you understood that wasn’t pretentious? Can you figure out what I’m doing yet?
Edit 2: 9:30 AM in Russia... this is fun... at least tell me if I figure it out.

Congratulations, all of you, for falling for the self-addmitted shitposter's bait thread... yet again.
This is what I meant when I said you don't understand basic terminology.
If Amazon is selling to and delivering to Canada, where I live, they're doing business in Canada. It doesn't matter where their headquarters are. Still have to abide by Canadian laws and taxes and all that.
If they don't, they don't get to sell in Canada.
If things worked like you seem to think, tariffs couldn't exist. They do. Because you're deeply confused about how things work.
Because Canadian consumers live in Canada and doing business with Canadian consumers is the thing that is being taxed.
The bullshit you're posting isn't even true of the US domestically; people living in Washington still have to pay state sales tax for shit they order out of state even if the company isn't based in WA.
Oh, there's also the simple fact that all the deregulation in the world hasn't stopped Kansas from being Kansas, meanwhile despite continual predictions of California's "imminent death by liberalism" the worst off states in the US when it comes to any social and economic metric you care to name are almost universally red ones that rely on raping their natural landscape for the tax dollars they say they don't need.

So basically this whole thread could have been dismissed by admitting that $58 for a domestically made, decent quality sweatshirt that is also meant to raise money for a political campaign is not at all overpriced.
"Buy American" is woke, apparently.

Meanwhile we're hearing not a peep about the blue MAGA hats certain centrist idiots are trying to push.
Only appropriate response:

$58 for a bulky sweater with Comic Sans font?

Yeah, pushed by Bill Clinton, who turned coat to get a legislative win in an all GOP congress, when we first saw the political center tilt rightward and it never went back.
Spreading the pain around is the same position of the same democrats that told us "just wait" for the past 25yrs. It's semantically similar to "trickle down." Or better, spreading pollution around so the more affected countries can breathe easier. Which is how I view most dems these polluted with ideas of the Right.
