my oldest friend I knew since I was 7 and yes we still keep in touch, though not as closely since we happen to live in different countries across the world nowadays.
I have been married for 21 years and we dated just over 2 years before that.
bonus - online friendship that has transcended multiple video games and while we haven't met in person, we did do video calls and chatted with SO's/other friends/know things about each others RL etc - 11ish years I think? I don't remember precisely when we met, only that we met during wrath, via random chat in Dalaran.

Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
