Ghoul running into unpulled trash

I ran a few M+ today and several times my Ghoul just went completely suicidal and ran into unpulled trashpacks easily 30 yards or so away. I hadn't mistabbed or targeted them.
Happened with both normal Timmy and Dark Trans.

Anyone else experienced something similar?

Yes, remove /cast Claw from your attack macros, otherwise you will autotarget the next mob once your current target is dead and the ghoul will go claw it.

Also, as a precaution, have an easily accessible button with /petpassive so you can hit it quickly if you see the ghoul starting something.
