What if Protec pally was remade?

althought protec have unique skills and all i really think he's not stepping so much in the UNIQUENESS realm for a while.
i was thinking about and thought that maybe they should remake then just as they did with survival hunter.
my idea for a new spec:

General: A fearsome tactician that leads there group to the victory in battlefield, fighting and protecting everyone
Characteristic: have a squire, a "pet" thats a young version of your race, like a kid, that follows and fight by your side. still uses light to heal, shields but gets more buff-like skills and the main mechanic its that the squire copy some of the skills u use every X seconds. (and it would keep avenger's shield bc thats an awesome skill)

Think about a squire following you and the possibilities of quests too unlock new different squires.

So your idea is for paladins to keep children as pets?

Maybe instead of equipping a shield you could just pick the kid up and hold him in front of you.

Using kids... fits with the relgious themes of the class.
    1) Load the amount of weight I would deadlift onto the bench
    2) Unrack
    3) Crank out 15 reps
    4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day

I think this is more a priest playstyle.

Let's keep away from the... uh... unsavory line of thinking here, and keep it towards the actual gameplay mechanics possible with having a squire. Please. Thank you.
