We have confirmation Boba's armor is cleaned regularly (every time he is in the tank.)
The Cantina has dozens of workers seen, and pretty much confirms it is cleaned regularly.
The Cantina is also shown to be pretty well off with money given how much was given to Boba. So, they can afford to clean it. But the outside of the cantina is clearly shown to be weathered, it isn't as clean as the inside.
These cyborgs are outside a lot, their cybernetics are shown off with pride ... and yet somehow they manage to be cleaner than pretty much everything else but are "poor"? It makes no sense they chose that look. Honestly, if they changed them from "poor" to just "bored with nothing to do." I would have less problems. But the fact they are said to be too poor to afford water and are as clean as they are just doesn't mesh.

Pretty much agree with you on this, just the glove and the mods parts I'm not so sure about it: imo Luke covered the hand more for aesthetic reasons than anything else; the mods being clean could be motivated by the high price they pay for them and so the constant maintenance by the cyborgs to keep them clean and in optimal condition (btw they use mods for convenience so those mods could be treated to whitstand adverse enviromental conditions)

Luke and Obi-wan needed to get to Alderaan - bypassing the Imperials. So it wasn't a spaceliner they were seeking - which they couldn't use for obvious reasons.
Han's price was 10k - considering the circumstances of their request. And he was obviously Hustling them because 10k can get you a whole ship (as Luke exclaimed)
Luke's speeder was enough to pay 2k as a downpayment.
The outrageousness of Han's price (17k total as Obi-wan promised) is confirmed by the time he actually receives the payment from Leia.
I am not comparing prices - I'm saying without any reasonable doubt that if these kids wanted off Tatooine - they would've been off Tatooine. Using a regular space liner popping 1k per ticket. No more! And their bikes along should pop for more than 2k, as they are in pristine condition.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side
That is literally mod culture for you. If you look back to the 50s in the US, even greasers were like that. Polished bikes, jackets, wax in hair.
All of them came from minority households and/or lower income families, but always 'looked the part'. So it's nothing new.
Is it jarring? Yes. Is it unusual? No.
There can be no greasers on Tatooine. Just because Tatooine is a literal trash planet doesn't mean you can put figurative trash on it and call it "groovy".

Again, you have no idea what the value of a ticket off world currently is or the value of those bikes. It is just a guess on a guess.

And yet greasers while they look strange still don't look out of place in their local. That is the issue, they don't look like the belong on tatooine.
Again, just changes bored and nothing to do rather than poor makes them work better in the story.

The bigger thing is that this is still a fantasy. Suspension of disbelief shouldn't be taken for granted, there are some things that are part of the 'fabric'. It's not ideal, but does happen. I'm not a massive fan of the aesthetic of the cyborgs, but I get their existence. Especially as someone who's played SWTOR in the past. Cyborgs have been entrenched in Star Wars lore (canon and legends) for thousands of the universe's years.
Like I said for me, it's the design decision as opposed to be the 'presence'.
Tatooine to me from the games, films and books was always claustrophobic and dirty.
Even if we give Boba's armour and the cantina a free pass, the lack of wear and tear of the cyborgs and their environment is jarring.
And that is despite looking at greaser culture and mod culture as an example. Nothing was 'new' but maintained.
Which is a point you made about the majordomo's speeder. Maintained but not brand new.

Well Djarin heard about its location from some random guy in the underworld, so stories about Cobb Vanth had already got out.
TBH I feel that we didn't even need most of the flashbacks - It would have served the character better to keep a little mystery to him and what happened before he appeared in Mandalorian. Start the season with him rescuing fennec and going to get his armor and ship back, and then organically revealing what happened to him this whole time instead.
They also really work against themselves when we know too much - We had a whole scene in this episode of them going to get his armor back and fighting the Sarlac, but as viewers we know the armour's not even there so it felt entirely redundant. If they hadn't shown his escape in the first episode, we could have had glimpses of it in this episode, as he (and the viewers) work out the mystery of how he got out and what happened to his armour. It would have been a much better narrative.
I feel this episode was better than the others at least. We actually saw him trying to be a Daimyo and learnt a bit more on his motives. The break-in seemed WAY too easy, but I guess that's down to time when they have to have two separate stories running in each episode.
The steampunk cyborgs still feel completely out of place in every part of their aesthetic. Whoever on the team thought "They've got 'MODifications' so they're 'Mods' and ride on mod vespas. OMG genius" should just be shot.

BASIC CAMPFIRE for WARCHIEF UK Prime Minister!
"Mooom, I want General Grievous!"
"We have General Grievous at home."
General Grievous at home:
Episode also where boba is dumb and fennec does everything, and wasn't sarlac deth when he crawl out? he just open a hole in it to get out and the thing didn't die?
Besides that and the little robot pursue, cause i don't see the reason of that unless he send the alarm, i think it was very good episode, better than the last one. All this Boba flashback, showing how he change, explains why he was so up on helping Djin, as part of giving back the armor, honor and loyalty and all.
I do hope the mando teasing is not just a tease, and they bring him in for the war.
Well, in the old EU, the Sarlacc didn't die when he blasted his way out either. Sarlacc are huge, it takes a lot to actually kill one.
Though, I do like how they kind of merged the Sarlacc appearance in the original release and special additions in the episode. They made it so the mouth can hide and give the appearance of the Sarlacc in the original release.

Well, to be fair then it is following the Pattern of The Mandalorian that had weaker episodes in the middle of the season compared to the beginning and end.
This was another set up episode. Based on what happened, I don't think we are going to be doing flashbacks for the remaining episodes because the Flashback caught up to the series so to speak. There is only so much more they could add.
