    Addon to show crafting costs

Hello, is there an addon out there that shows what it costs to craft an item based on current server material prices?

    Preferably one that isn't TSM.

I think I had one back in cataclysm, it was a small addon that did just that. I think it had something with goblin in its name.

/edit: it was LilSparky's Workshop, however the project is abandoned

Hey dude, make sure to update this thread if you find anything, since it looks like you snagged one of the top search spots for "wow crafting price addon", haha

I'm looking for an addon like this too. TradeSkillMaster gets the job done, but it's a nightmare to set up, it's slow as hell, and you have to download their shady desktop app to use it.

I found "Crafty" which is also out of date, and an old addon called "CraftingPrice" which is even farther out of date. I've been using a locally hacked-together addon where I kludged in the price data from TheUndermineJournal and a list of glyph recipes to find, craft, and post/repost profitable glyphs. I'd really like it if there were something more flexible and professional though, since there are a ton of transmog items/random handy things I could be crafting and posting every day on smaller servers

EDIT 2021: Auctionator seems to handle this smoothly now.

you might wanna use The Gadgetzan Times web application for that. It's pretty easy to use. You just select your realm and profession. It gives a list including every recipe cost-potential profit. I'm not allowed to share links, so just google it.

The name of LilSparky's Workshop is Dugi's Workshop now. Does the same thing, but up-to-date.

Auctionator has that iirc. Only addon for AH you need anyway, TSM is bloated garbage that should be banned by Blizzard...Makes the AH lag, so we're still stuck with only 50 auctions cancel limit...

How exactly does Auctionator do that because I've never seen that feature in it and I've been using Auctionator since it was released years (decades?) ago. It will list the vendor price, auction price value, and disenchantment item value based on what it can DE into and the current AH prices for that item but I've never seen it show anywhere what the cost to craft an item is based off the AH pricing.

It's in the Options for Auctionator under "Basic Options" > "Crafting Info"

When you go to the crafting window it will show you what the cost of the materials is and the projected profit from crafting the item. See ss:
