Reminds me of the video of the Capitol attack terrorists released by The New Yorker yesterday.

A bunch of them were rifling through Ted Cruz's desk in the Senate and saw on one of his documents that he was going to object to counting Arizona's electoral votes. They started freaking out and cursing him because they thought that meant he was against them. Then they spent the next minute debating what it actually meant, before they realized objecting was what they wanted him to do.

These knuckle-dragging morons literally don't even know what they're fighting for.

I'm really concerned about a pardon for those who participated in the insurrection.

If one is issued, 100%, there needs to be an attempt to overturn it even if it means going to the Supreme Court.

We are going to set a DANGEROUS precedent if we allow people to be pardoned for committing crimes that amount to an attempt to overthrow the government.

What's to stop the next president from ordering that the VP, his cabinet, and the entirety of congress be murder and he takes complete control over the country and then pardons the people who committed those crimes so that he can instill whoever he wants and anyone who stops him he also has murdered and then pardons. It's technically all legal within the constitution if we let this go unchecked.

It would have been much better, for the simple fact that he wouldn’t have defunded the pandemic response team and would have had the cunning as a politician, to see that handling the virus with as much force as possible... would have made Jeb one of the most popular president in history... even if everything else he did was garbage.

Just a reminder... the reason for this argument, is that Clinton wanted a no fly zone over Syria. Something Russia did, the March after Trump became president. It not only didn’t start WW3, but was hailed by the international community, including Trump, as a great success in combating Syrian violence.

gave a large tour prior to the attack on the Capitol.

So Boebert denies giving a tour but I believe they gave evidence that she did. Thus why would shy lie about it? Also no confirmation that any in the tour so far have a connection to the insurrection at the Capitol.

We've always seen through the cracks of the Republican party. They don't want to win power fair and square. They've been using underhanded tactics to win elections for decades. Gerrymandering on far greater levels than Democrats could ever dream of, voter suppression, and for as much as conservative sources like to blare "voter fraud" cases in a montage across the screen as proof that voter ID is needed, if you go in and read every case of voter fraud in the last 20 years, the vast majority of them are REPUBLICANS.

Don't you think the taxpayers' money should be used for something more productive than putting those kind of people in prison? I mean, isn't prison used to make people think about their crimes and maybe feel some kind of remorse/guilt for their criminal actions? I could be wrong though... but I think it is at least one of the reasons why criminals are put in prisons... Also of course to keep them off the street and out of society so they don't harm anyone else.

I read recently I think a briefing or something from one of those Departments of the military (don't know the name... there's sooo many of them it seems lol) that the

I know it might be very outrageous but I feel like the extremists/domestic terrorists/Trump supporters will come on Inauguration Day completely armed and will be "out for blood" and the NG in D.C. will probably be forced to "gun them down" if they become violent to protect themselves and the lawmakers at the Capitol building. Or I would say just imprison them all for life... whichever works. I have read or heard that some of them will not go back to their home state unless in a bodybag... . I do wonder though what is going to happen after Inauguration Day... That "Trumpism" is not gonna go away anytime soon it seems and it's not realistic to think that the military personnel will stay guarding as they are going to be on that day.
