    They Just...Filmed Themselves Doing It
We should be wary of political prosecutions, but this isn't exactly COINTELPRO.
Nice header/subhead combo on Esquire, they write more for entertainment than straight up information.

I love riffing off that time Jared Yates Sexton lost his mind because he'd spent over a year of his spare time researching and investigating Trump Jr's correspondence between the Trump campaign and Russia because Donnie Jr. just tweeted them out.

Also I love that these people were so privileged, so stupid, so arrogant, so ignorant, and so stupid (again), that despite a summer of protests which showed how easily people can be identified off of livestreams, including with more violent/extremist groups that were involved realizing this and actively seeking to avoid phones and protect their identities, literally hundreds/thousands of these unmasked idiots livestreamed themselves, took video and shared it, snapped thousands of photo's, and posted it all on the internet.
@Ursus - Do you think Ron Johnson will deny that Sicknick was murdered by these law abiding protesters? That the chaos they caused led to the suicide at least one Capitol police officer? Probably, and then he'll blame Oprah or AOC for something.

He'll claim that the two "gentlemen" were just having some fun and exercising their First Amendment rights, and then go on to claim that the officer died of natural causes that had nothing to do with the insurrection, much like the deplorables keep claiming that George Floyd died because of drugs in his system and that it had nothing to do with being choked to death for nearly 9 minutes.

A capitol police officer was just cancelled for READING at his desk.

Oh, never mind that he was reading a copy of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a noted Nazi text.

It's possible that maybe this was like...research into the threats against the White House? I mean, the datestamp on the print + that it'd just be laying out there with a binder clip on it makes it seem like it could be research material instead of something someone printed out at home. Though it could have totally been done at a Kinko's or whatever, if those still exist. Investigate away, and if it's his personal copy then he can fuck right the hell off. You don't print that shit out and bring it to work at the fuckin White House.

Then again, I don't think anyone has credibly accused most white supremacists of being terribly smart. Just terribly gullible.

I was gonna say how do they not know Josh Hawley or Marjorie Taylor Greene didn't leave it at the checkpoint by accident, lol.

Can you imagine Ron Desantis running this country especially when the United States is at a turning point where the next 10 years will probably make or break our country?

There are already press stories about "What if democrats were wrong, and Desantis was correct all along?"

This perfectly fits in with the anti-mask philosophy that many Trump supporters are completely tuned into.

Good lord I saw some of those, and then the, "Well if CA took the FL approach only 6K more people would have died even if the economies are recovering similarly." or something to that effect and almost projectile vomited all over my desk. And it wasn't even a fuckin RedState piece, either.

Feds have a new top 10 most wanted list from the riot. If anyone recognizes any of these degenerates contact the FBI about it, don't post their names here. Let law enforcement handle it, and if they get arrested then we can mock them by name.

Now we just gotta hope "boomers" don't start taking the term literally. But given how they largely seem to be cowardly pieces of shit when they're not with their mob of fellow violent fucks, I don't think they have the stones for it.

    Which is fantastic news.

I saw a thread about it disappear pretty quick on this forum... if I had to guess... that’s what the post that got deleted between two edge posts, was about it as well... they think telling Putin to not interfere in our elections, is an act of war...

Amazing that these clowns think this even holds precedent considering for decades it's been illegal to carry/posses a weapon on federal property if you aren't part of security. Hope these clowns are throughly dragged through the mud.

How does he even think that'll work?

Even if you disagree with a rule, violating the rule doesn't mean your fines for violating it would get voided if/when the rule is ended. People in prison for drug crimes don't get an automatic release when the drug in question gets legalized, because it was illegal when they got caught trafficking it.

In this case, he admits he knew he'd be harming himself by avoiding the detectors and thus being fined. He can't argue that Pelosi is responsible, because he admits he knew what the rules were and what the penalties were, and deliberately violated those rules, regardless.

This is like getting a dozen speeding tickets just so you can sue the mayor for the speed limits set in town. You'd have to be a blithering moron to think that was a reasonable tactic that had any prayer of working.
