Otherwise, just asking for a pardon without any clear specific doesn't mean much. It's just them saying that they know they did "something" wrong.

But also, using it as a point of what cubby is saying of knowing that they did something wrong. So a combo of what you're both saying.
I just posted Mo Brooks' reason for requesting a pardon.

    Here is how it goes:
I'm a little shocked that they use this nutty language in private communication. Evil commie socialist dems is cute on Fox News, but a little weird to say to other adults behind the curtain.

I'm not, honestly. This is the mentality of the average Trump supporter.

If this is a legit internal communication between GQP leaders, the use of this language, this propaganda-esque language, is downright frightening.

I would say it is considering it was Mo Brooks that sent it to CBS.

To me it means they actually believe all that chatter talk about "social-whatever" and such. Terrifying.

That's just Mo Brooks. Considered the worst representative in Congress. At least before MTG and Boebert entered the picture.

Related story - my mom had the "pleasure" of meeting with Brooks to discuss lobbying for the real estate commission she's on. At the time, some celebrity had come out as gay. During the meeting, Mo would interrupt the discussion and ask "hey, did you know XXX was gay?!".

He's a true believer in what he says. It's why no one in Congress likes him.

If anyone remembers, Mo Brooks is my representative. I have been laughing my ass off at the past year and a half at what's happened to him. Trump threw him under the bus, and then stabbed him in the back before he realized that Trump only looks out for Trump. It's been absolute pleasure to watch his own turn on him.

    Look at that Sexy B*tch!!!

Breathing, panting heavily while buttoning up that jacket sitting down so his sexy belly won't show. Taking so much time and thought into where a glass of water goes.

    What a Sexy B!

Question is, will he use 2 hands to try and drink it?

Posting here since this is a feeble attempt to distract and project. This is not about abortion and please take discussion to Roe v Wade thread.

MJT being stupid yet this is what I'm talking about how conservatives use projection sooooo much. They also used the same talking points about people who worked for Colbert and were kicked out of Congress.

Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks carbon is good for us. I'd like to hope more people would just ignore her, but then I remember what the average republican voter must be like now.

If only projection were a superpower that could be used for good.

Surprise hearing tomorrow, some news sites claiming its about newly obtained evidence.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ron-j...231130879.html

Ron Johnson's story about the alternate slate of electors keeps changing.

First, he didn't know what anyone was talking about.

Then he blamed an intern for it.

Then he blamed Rep. Mike Kelly of PA for it.

"Mr. Kelly has not spoken to Sen. Johnson for the better part of a decade, and he has no knowledge of the claims Mr. Johnson is making related to the 2020 election."
Now it's apparently indirectly coming from Dane County attorney Jim Troupis, who was reportedly (doubtfully) in separate communication with Rep. Kelly.

Just a reminder: Republicans lie. A lot. And keep lying even when caught.

I'm sure someone convinced him that would be a stupid idea, considering how rearing to go for mayhem they might've been and it would have just implicated him more directly when things went south.

Sounds like Meadows basically shouted at her to not let Trump go.

And it could have been even worse.

If there aren't any, I'll be both shocked and not shocked, somehow.
