Otherwise, just asking for a pardon without any clear specific doesn't mean much. It's just them saying that they know they did "something" wrong.

But also, using it as a point of what cubby is saying of knowing that they did something wrong. So a combo of what you're both saying.

That's just Mo Brooks. Considered the worst representative in Congress. At least before MTG and Boebert entered the picture.

Related story - my mom had the "pleasure" of meeting with Brooks to discuss lobbying for the real estate commission she's on. At the time, some celebrity had come out as gay. During the meeting, Mo would interrupt the discussion and ask "hey, did you know XXX was gay?!".

He's a true believer in what he says. It's why no one in Congress likes him.

If anyone remembers, Mo Brooks is my representative. I have been laughing my ass off at the past year and a half at what's happened to him. Trump threw him under the bus, and then stabbed him in the back before he realized that Trump only looks out for Trump. It's been absolute pleasure to watch his own turn on him.

Ron Johnson's story about the alternate slate of electors keeps changing.

First, he didn't know what anyone was talking about.

Then he blamed Rep. Mike Kelly of PA for it.

Sounds like Meadows basically shouted at her to not let Trump go.

And it could have been even worse.

Hutchinson on what Trump wanted to do when he got to the Capitol on January 6: "There were discussions about him having another speech outside the Capitol before going in. I know that there was a conversation about him going in the House chamber at one point."
