Why do you care what others "rank" as? Find likeminded people, and play with them, even if it might take some time. It's that easy!

thats the point, 6million players. 100 are top world.. ppl like me are few and far between its not so easy to just go out and find top 100 rank players because thats the thing, there is only what 2000 of them when you consider each class/viable spec?
and then you have the issue that the majority of these players already have a premade, all the top players i befriended already had a premade. thats how it works. especially in bfa where a healers skill was secondary made my ability redundant / disposable it wasnt down to how good a healer was it was about how fun he was to be around. world of socialcraft, one big popularity contest.
Also there was the element of people being threatened by how well i played, i ran 10 keys with a group and they were commentating about how insane it was how flawless i had played through all the keys.
i should be proud of world 100 all things considered when i stop and think of the cards the game handed me.

it's never too late to find a guild, mate. heck, i found my progress guild about half way through bfa. look for a guild on something like wowprogress that has the kind of raid progress you are looking for (in my case, i'm more of a heroic raider so i looked for a guild that was around 6/9 at the time since i figured they wouldn't steamroll everything but still be good enough to beat heroic), message them about their raid requirements and what the social atmosphere is so you can see if you'd fit without causing drama, and then do trial raids. even if they don't take you to progress nights right away, just do your best on farm nights and prove to them you are worth taking.
By now you could've just posted a few ingame screenshots of your supposed top 5 world characters and yet you didn't lol. I can only guess why...

I could bet that OP is the guy that bombs the raid on geddon and then blames everyone for the wipe.

well, I certainly stopped trying a long time ago
I don't pvp not even non-rated
I don't raid, boss have too much HP and I have better things to do with my time
and I don't MM+ because I don't like the timer and the rush attitude
and most of all, I don't try because I certainly don't want to team with people like you OP
toxic player for a toxic community
I'd rather play alone in a mmo crowd, on a corner far from you and yours
I find it rather cute that he continues insisting that he is a top 100, or top 5 world class player, but it's everyone else's fault that he is somehow unable to "reach his true potential".
I mean, that's like Lebron complaining that "if only I wasn't stuck in this varsity level team, I could totally be dominating on the world court!"
Seriously though, if you were even remotely as good as you claim to be, why aren't you raiding with one of the world first guilds? Why are you slumming it with the rest of the casuals and the tryhards when you should be rocking with the best of the best? If you were actually as good as you claim, literally any one of those guilds would be sucking your nuts to get you on their teams.
i stopped joining guilds when i realised when you list a high key with some requirements of skill there is always a guild member that will sign up that you almost feel obliged to take, me being me im honest, i tell him he isnt good enough, always ends well me in a guild community.
That's not how this works. You didn't do the work to get the rank, period. Part of that work involves not being terrible to be around so people want to play with you, and you clearly can't handle that.
Legion m+ was also literally Baby's First M+, it was so easy and different compared to how it is now that rank 15 back then means pretty much nothing.

exactly!!!! this game is no longer about game skill, its about social skill, world of socialcraft! my game ability is unparalleled. im just rubbish to be around.
i played with cryptexclap back end of last season world 3 prot warr, i would expect world 3 prot warr to be better skilled than he was but thats another thing, i carried his fails. after carrying his fails and playing flawlessly for 5 keys he decided he wanted a more sociable healer...
in response to that i told him i hope he has a good laugh with his new sociable healer and he screws every key you try with him, his response was "i wont mind that" different minds!
people dont care about being good in this game, all they care about is making virtual friends, its a social game.
i dont need pretend friends from this game....sorry.
i am respectful around good players and chilled, but i wont be your friend and plan to meet up some time irl. dafuq is that about? so short on real life friends are we guys? "its a game" its not a game, its a social platform for you to put yourself into a virtual world of similar people that actually have no friends so you all come together as one big happy family where nobody is good. but thats ok! blizzard will help with that by nerfing everything............then after you get the nerfed handout kill you can run around the game and judge people by there ability to react to a 40second timer and move from point a to point b.......... lol
crappers

id agree with that to a certain extent, im exceptional at half the game and really bad at the other half.
by your theory it does make you wonder, who really is the best player in the world? how many of the number 1 players that the world has ever created has been shunned because they dont want to make friends. makes you wonder doesnt it.
This game by design is built for someone with an autistic / exceptional mathematical mind. wonder how many autistic genius have been shunned into unsubscribing by players with 80iq due to there inability to socialise.
really does make you wonder.
its like that old theory since wow began, why is the best player in the raid usually the quietest? hes bad at half the game too.
when did wow turn so socially reliant? it never used to be.
and by your point you also point out that there are going to be players 80% amazingly social and 20% gameskill, that sucks for people like me, really really sucks because i know they arent half the player i am, these guys are exactly what i call.....fake gods. not good at the actual game just have better social skills, de hell is this game? game of skill, na..... one giant popularity contest.

but....you cant get the rank if your not friendly because nobody wants to play with you, game skill means little/nothing its all about the social skill.
Ive seen it first hand, ive played with "the best" the community has to offer and im gonna be honest, they wasnt all that great! but they had a great laugh and it was all jokes. im the opposite.
you get far in this game by being fun to be around which is what will get you that consistent premade which i never had which is exactly what i needed to go to my true potential for my ability in the actual game not considering the social side.
im done anyway, thanks for listening.
How to get a good percentile as a healer:
You need to be good AND your other healers need to be bad so that they don’t steal hps from you.
Your heroic raid performance doesn’t mean much. Maybe you are as good as you are saying or maybe your other healers were so bad that you had to sweat the encounters. Play mythic with a good group, good co-healers and then watch your numbers go down.
