To be expected, it was a huge pain point for guilds working on it, between bugs, every pull being different, and the fact that it is like a TWELVE minute penultimate boss....

30% of guilds who killed sludge killed SLG
68% of guilds who killed SLG have killed Sire

it's supposed to be the other way around lol.

SLG nerfs were needed, this fight is a nightmare on mythic. Even the top guilds were complaining, and most of these will definitely be welcome changes.

Also good that they responded to some of what happened at the MDI and are adjusting things to be more equitable. NW nerfs were needed, for sure.

    Well... that sounds very weird...
The Necrotic Wake seemed to be one of the easiest M+.
We had more problems with other instances.

Broken, really? Apart from the usual meta it's okay... and unless you do cutting-edge stuff you can play almost everything.
We don't get drowned in purples every day like the last expansion, sure some people will dislike that.
Difficulty seems fine for the most parts.. and anima? That's a bonus-currency anyway..

Who asked for Council nerfs? What needs nerfing (or changes) is Sludgefist's RNG puddles IMO.

3/4 of your "issues" are much much worse in TBC, so your hype makes no fucking sense.

Also why does anima bother you? The required amount of anima is super easy to get and everything beyond that is just for cosmetics

Pretty much this regarding anima: apart from upgrading the gear (if you need) to 197 and having some for missions table, the rest is pretty forgettable.

Every time I open the covenant reservoir and I look at the building upgrades I’m asking myself why exactly should I gather all that anima to upgrade them.

An absurd amount of anima is still needed if you are interested in collecting the cosmetics and collectibles. I get this is optional, not something every player is interested in, but I fully expect they will ramp up anima rewards as the expansion progresses.

As a collector in game I collated together all of the remaining items (transmog, mounts, pets) that I will be looking to get from my covenant (Kyrian) as well as the remaining building upgrades that I will be looking to build. In total I will be needing 219250 anima and 965 grateful offerings. The offerings aren't too bad at about 12 a day but the anima is not realistic.

Yeah of course I’m writing from my “I don’t care about cosmetics” perspective, if you are instead interested it’s a huge amount of grind.
