    Kinda bored, you?

    So we have all been playing Shadowlands, the past few months.

    And the honeymoon phase is over. But I feel like this EXP was really great in the start, but became really boring super fast.

    I really don't get, why blizzard choose to have each zone separated, it feels to disconnected. it made me care less about the "shadowland world".

    The covenant are really boring imo and super slow, its gated behind time, so its like watching a movie, but you can only see 2min each week.

    When I don't raid, m+ or PVP, I don't know what to do ingame, there is no solo content, besides "old content" but have been doing that for years. I really think wow needs more solo content.' (Why mage tower was great)

    The reason why I really enjoyed lets say, Warth. was because I could play at every hour, and I did not need to find a group for things. I could just spam queue HC dungeons, get Valor and get some ok gear for my alts.

    Any others that are getting bored quick of SL?

    Maybe a massively multi-player game isn't for you if you prefer to do everything solo.
    when all else fails, read the STICKIES.

    Feel sorry for you, time to find another game

    Honeymoon period is over.

    Time to do something else until the next major content patch. You are not the only one, so here, some validation!

    That's when you log off & play something else. If I'm not engaged in group play there's dozens if not hundreds of games I'd rather play right now over single player WoW. It's alright to feel that way.

    There's plenty of collectables & single player content for people who like that sorta thing, but as someone who prefers the MMO element nowadays, I'm super grateful there's very little I NEED to do to keep my character relevant for raiding. I used to be a bit of an achievement chaser back in the day, but since BfA I just can't be all that bothered anymore with that.

    I actually have too much stuff to do and not so much energy / time:

    - Implement a third heroic raid day, but that would just tire our raiders;
    - Farm more Anima for the Seat of the Primus, but there's not enough time;
    - More Mythic+, but I can only do like 3, 4 a week maximum;
    - More alts! But then there's no time for my main;
    - More resource farming, but again, time. Sad thing is they sell quite expensively on my realm.
    - PvP! It's been ages since I did some, but other stuff is priority.
    - Playing other games and balancing it all with WoW.

    Awesome game, glad I purchased it.

    Stop playing shit you don't like and you'll have zero boredom problems.

    I agree completely. It was super fun leveling my first few characters, exploring the zones, completing the Covenant campaigns, running the new dungeons, and finishing Castle Nathria. But everything did turn stale REALLY quickly. At this point I pretty much just log in once or twice a week to cap my Renown and maybe run a few Mythics (if it's not a Tyrannical week)...

    Yes I get very strong WOD vibes from this one. Not a lot to do outside of your weekly lockouts/chores.

    If I'm bored of the game, I will not play. And I also won’t be needing validation for it.

    But I am not bored yet, loads still remains to be done.

    if you are on raid schelude, do keys and pvp, and you still have time to burn in wow, then you either dont do enough of those things or you no-life it which is totally fine but that doesnt mean that there has to be 24/7 content for you

    I could agree with that in a way. but my point is more, there is nothing to do in the world. i need that extra spice, to do while not doing the main things.

    The world is a rich, vibrant place full of 35 anima.

    you know the mmo champion crowd is never bored and never has a problem with the game. They might even blame you for being bored

    im on a 2 day raid schelude and i push A LOT of keys with my main and i maintain 2 alts as well. These things keep me extremely busy during the week. Maybe lvl an alt?

    There's the same as there's been for the past few expansions no? World quests, mounts, transmog, other collectables, etc. It's just that none of it gives player power, which is great as it means less time playing single-player WoW & more time either playing with guildies or playing other games.

    If you don't have a geared alt OP, and there is another class you'd like to try out, I'd suggest levelling one. I personally have 4 60's atm, of which 2 I do most things on, and I'm pretty much always busy.

    Edit: Saw you answered below pretty much as I posted

    Even if i level an alt, its just the same stuff once again. Raid and M+

    The world has nothing, it was fun the first weeks as everyone was trying to get the mounts and so on, now its just stale

    In pre cata, you could spam HC dungeons on your alt and gear HC gear + Valor points. Also i imo the world felt more alive back then.
