    Just the way it goes. blizz sucks at balacing so someone has to bite the short end of the stick. this time it's us.

    they don't even need to balance defensives to fix the "i dont get invited" issue, just the dps differences between the tanks as in reality that's really what the metagame is based off. we didn't really have more/lress kiting tools in BFA yet people picked us all the time then because we were dps top dog.

    I'd like to see the mastery stat get fixed to something useful. Either improve on the critical block it provides or tag in some extra mitigation on blocks or during shield block duration. ATM it feels like crit in terms of mitigation.

    Since everything goes up by 10%, it's just 10 more % for TC.

    We'll see how it pans out. Don't think a 10% aura increase is a solution.

    Some ideas:

    Make impending victory baseline.
    Make revenge/devastate rage builders with some sort of proc interaction.
    Increase the rage cap to allow for more pooling.
    Current Shield Block to become a channelled ability that generates rapid rage regeneration when getting beaten on - but cant attack while its up - to setup for a counter attack phase of rapid shield slams back to back.
    Shield slam to become a rage spender dps ability - with a short stacking buff that increases the damage of subsequent slams for a couple of seconds, to add a dps dumping ability.
    Ignore pain to remain largely as is.

    So basically:-
    Use devastate/revenge to help build rage
    Dump rage into Ignore pain (defensive) or Shield Slam (offensive)
    Shield Block as a powerful proactive defensive ability that also generates a lot of rage to use afterwards.
    Make some talents baseline to improve QOL.

    Not even remotely true, since both charges do not cooldown simultaneously. The cooldown is still effectively 45 seconds, you just get 1 additional use at the start and can pool additional uses when one is finished cooling down.

    If i were to change anything on prot warrior would be deleting devastator talent, reduce shield block rage cost, devastate back to generate rage, deleting that stupid talent for shockwave when shockwave had that baseline....

    I just wish that Iron Maiden conduit hit the game. Prot has 1 potency for itself and 2 endurance. i feel like something is missing.
