    Need a world politics subforum

It's pretty obvious that the current politics forum might as well be called "US politics". Only 2 threads on the first page are about world politics and both of them have a very American take on events. Going by user activity most of the frequent posters are American as well. Would be nice to have a subforum where things other than Trump and Biden can get some traction.

Does the subforum activity stop you from creating these threads?

Or are you suggesting that the site demands a certain quota of attention to these threads in particular to keep them engaged?

The politics subforum should be fine. Just like with adding game subforums, there needs to be a certain amount of usage first, and having just 2 threads active, isn't much.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

    I agree.
I see a lot of movement on "brexit" and some on any topic regarding Russia and China, but...i don't think much else will draw much attention.

Such as; Ghana Council of State election results...this was a couple of days ago. Did anyone notice?

It'll die down on the American front somewhat, after Trump is no longer relevant, his fuckups largely fixed, and his cultists... stop being nuts. Not holding my breadth for the last part.

They have been the #1 source for American related politics in here, for sure.

If there are only 2 threads for "World Politics"...than there isn't enough interest to justify an entire subforum.

Maybe what you need to do is find a politics forum on a website the isn't US-Based.

There are plenty of non-Americans on this forum. The issue is that people form into subforum cliques. The politics subforum is completely dominated by Americans with non-USA focused threads rapidly falling off or getting zero traction. If there was a dedicated non-USA politics subforum, threads would stick around for longer and there would be a chance for a non-American clique to form.

Well, hey, good luck with that. I can already tell you though that until you prove there is an actual demand for it...you won't get it.
