BlizzConline Preview - Wandering Ancient Mount
Last year we collaborated with our World of Warcraft communities across the globe to create a new mount to gift all players with World of Warcraft: Shadowlands activated on their account and for those who purchase the expansion at a later date. After receiving hundreds of thousands of votes, the Wandering Ancient came out on top!
Not all ancients are interested in war or lore, some just want to travel the world! This arboreal nomad has traveled to many places and with each passing season embraces change, both in scenery and in the foliage atop its branches.
Watch the "World of Warcraft: Making of the Wandering Ancient Mount" panel on February 19 at 4:10 p.m. PST for a first glimpse of the mount set to make its way to eligible players in Q1 2021.
The Wandering Ancient is just one of many things we’ll be showcasing at BlizzConline, tune into BlizzConline later today to learn more about what’s coming to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and WoW Classic!

Cool but where is the community they are talking about? I thought mmoc is one of the largest and I don't recall any votes on mounts at all.

The voting was done in the official site/forums of course. There were threads about it here too, but the voting was done in the official site.

I'd like a teenie bit more color in that. Some of those purple leaves, some of them brown leaves, maybe some more vines and it's pretty much exactly what I would've imagined what we'd be getting back when it was voted for. Seasonal changes on this thing would be the only way to really exceed my expectations.

I sure hope we will get the silver/purple version as well, because the green one makes me want to throw up. Unless you are a druid with T1 set you will never be able to match that to anything. It does look better than I expected though, but still shocked how it won. I guess this was a spontaneous guilt trip of half the community because the horde burned down that darn tree.

This ugly thing? This is why I voted for the Slimesaber, cause a Slimesaber would've been cute and it wouldn't have been such a bloody eyesore due to it not using one of the largest mount models in the game.
