Not sure why the Jags took a running back in the 1st round.....

Competition between the 6th and at best 7th best QB in the division, very encouraging.

Plus side next offseason you'll have a new coach to go with your new QB.

Maybe you'll trade for Rodgers next year.

Also lol Packers are gonna stumble into a good CB.
Yeah if you are Lawerence you got to love it though. Packers get the CB the Saints leave them barring no trades.

I said it because there were rumors Denver was locked in to trade for Aaron Rodgers. Taking Surtain could be a trade piece for something they didn't overly need (IIRC Denver had a pretty good defense last year?)

Welp there goes another CB, Saints options getting thinner there.

Yeah, I still wasn't sold the Saints were going CB in round 1, just seems like we're going to do something odd here. If they couldn't trade up to get a player they wanted I think they got something else in mind.

If Ravens don't snap him up I could see them taking the linebacker from Norte Dame.

Until the injuries got really bad, yeah. There were points they had corners and d-line starting that they took off the street or other team's practice squads because everyone else was hurt.

It is 100% a pick for the future/injury depth this year. Fuller is on a 1 year deal, Callahan last year of his deal and Darby is years. Plus they all have injury histories.

Asante Samuel Jr is still on the board, he's pretty decent.

Moehrig too. I think those are the last two of the top tier DBs left.

Saints could honestly snap up Moehrig. Leaving Samuel for the Packers.

Surtain is a day 1 starter though, which is why I wonder why they'd burn a pick on him if they have money tied up in other guys.

Isn't Moehrig more of a Safety? I dunno how he projects into a corner in the NFL, not read anything on him.

Yeah he's listed as a Safety which I could see the Saints wanting one more.

Yeah but at least unlike the usual Drafts this one isn't a boo fest.

Folks just happy to be able to have a Draft.

My favorite memory of last year's draft was Goodell being obviously blitzed at some point and like slouched over in his chair, lol.

Fits with every other move George Paton has done that makes no sense.

All. According. To Keikaku. This post will age like milk when the Packers also swerve.
