The Cardinals are in "win now" mode, so the trade makes sense. Plus the Eagles acquire a 5th and a player they were keen on in the draft.

Sentiment rarely shows itself in the NFL.

I'm certainly glad he went to a good team at least. Makes pulling for a Bills/Cardinals SB easier.

Don't haunt me with bad dreams of potentially losing a Super Bowl to another "Hail Murray."

Worse yet would be facing the Cowboys.

Let me play someone I can stand losing to. Currently, that sits at.....Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, Matt Ryan and the Falcons (yeah right), wouldn't mind losing to Russ Wilson....that's about it in the NFC.

Better yet, let us play a shit team that we can steamroll by 40 points so I don't have to have agita for the two weeks before the game.

Edit: I guess I wouldn't mind losing to Stafford and the Rams, except I hate their owner and hate that they left St. Louis - but Stafford deserves success.

For sure, that many emails and they have only found 2.5 people that have done anything remotely wrong? I don't know, definitely feels targeted.

"We have enough emails to get Gruden ousted midway through his contract and get a lawyer fired for consorting with Dan Snyder, but not enough emails to convince owners to pressure Snyder to sell."

Yeah, okay NFL, we totally believe you're not just covering for the rich guy.

Not to mention both people sent these to the same guy, why the hell is Bruce Allen not being asked why people felt it ok to send him that kind of hateful content?

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...-investigation

The NFL has found no other current team or league personnel to have sent emails containing racist, anti-gay or misogynistic language similar to messages written by Jon Gruden that led to his resignation as Las Vegas Raiders coach, a person familiar with the documents told The Associated Press on Friday.

The person said the league "did not identify other areas and other individuals it has to contact at club leadership or league leadership levels." The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the league has not publicly released what is in the 650,000 emails the independent investigators collected during an investigation of sexual harassment and other workplace conditions at the Washington Football Team.

    ...
If anyone believes the NFL truly didn't find anything else racist/sexist/homophobic in 650,000 emails, I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you.

Kind of surprised, you would think someone else would have made similar comments about Goodell to Bruce Allen.

I'm actually starting to believe Gruden was only targeted because of that now. They can use the poorest NFL owner's organization as a distraction to whatever bad stuff is being covered up for Washington.

Tue just pulled a Wilson, had an easy 5 yards free ahead of him on a 3rd and 2 and stopped right before the first down marker to throw it. As frustrating as when runners do or don’t get out of bounds when time is relevant.

I don’t think I’ve seen much of tua but he has a really sluggish throwing motion.

It might just be because it’s Miami (I thought their D was really good, did it not carry over from last year?) but Lawrence is looking pretty good - comfortable in the pocket, not rocketing it into receivers open 5 yards away, accuracy right at their chests. Though the broadcasters are giving him too much credit for things like drops. Some of those drops are on him for throwing it too short or while on the run so it has a weird angle, which he does a lot.

Does jax not have a running back?

I'd say it's still way too early to talk about who will be in the superbowl.

Nah, we all know it will be the Raiders vs Washington.

Well, to be fair, the article doesn't say that there wasn't rascist, sexist or homophobic in the emails, but rather nothing "similar to" but they don't describe what is similar. It is essentially stupid word play that if it comes out that they are in the emails, they can go "But they aren't similar to Gruden."

    It is stupid PR speak.

    I agree.

With how the NFL has handled other similar issue, they are avoiding telling us the full picture to "protect the Shield."

I love the game, but I am sick of the bs from the commissioner and other NFL administrators.
