I guess they skipped the emotional origin story - but that also makes Holland's spidey more goofy and light-hearted. This mentality is so stupid. There have been Supermen before Cavill and there will be Supermen after he's gone. It may not be his fault he happened to be cast in an incredibly disappointing series of movies, but neither is it incumbent on the studio to keep him around as some sort of...I don't know...redemption?

And none of this even precludes the possibility that there will be multiple versions of Superman out there at the same time. I mean...there's literally a new Superman show running right now, isn't there? And wasn't Tom Welling involved in one of those recent crossover events (or was that Brandon Routh)?

Yes i have seen them all and he's still the best for the roll imo, cant see why they need to change him if anything the producer/director handeled him a shit script to work with and could improve that instead. He's a great actor but i also like the guy as he's a gamer and can acually build pc's lol but also as he's a huge warhammer fan and paint models so abit of a personal opinion there but he's just a very nice guy.

So yeah im going to say it's gonna be shit without him and not the same. But sure we will see perhaps i will give it a go if they replace him but i really fucking hope they dont.

Same with replacing batman Bale was much better then Affleck imo and the dark knight serie was by far the best they have ever put out but not only that but now they are replacing him too i wonder why. Or atleast replaces affleck in the movie im sure hes still in justice league but still.

Perhaps Bale quit on his own i cant remember but the point still stands batman is not the same without him and he nailed the roll and im gonna say it's going to be the same with superman.

I mean could you see anyone else play Iron Man or Thor for example after all this time?

Wow, I really don't think these guys are as smart as most of you think they are because they're billionaires. Their wealth also means they have lots of money to throw around and fuck up big projects, as longa s they get lucky a few times, they can keep going.

But who knows, it could be the most amazing thing ever, with JJ Abrams directing, and we know he certainly draws all the crowd.. my guess.. we are getting Black Superman with Michael Jordan or Idriss Alba starring.

It could be a standalone AU Superman ofc, doesn't necessarily mean the snyder verse is going, but who am I kidding. Long live JJ?

Technically, he still could have come back as another version of Superman. Routh did double duty as Superman and Ray Palmer.

It might have been interesting to see how Kara reacted to a Superman that looked like her adoptive father.

But, yeah, I doubt they were very interested in bringing him back. Funny thing is he is actually one of those types that claims to be in favour of gay rights...but doesn't see the problem with speaking at an Anti-Gay groups events to promote whatever shitty christian propaganda film he was in at the time.

They've kind of given up on having crossover movies I think. They'll still have characters that exist in that world together...but they just won't be keeping in touch much.

They aren't necessarily "rebooting"...they're kinda just jumping around exploring alternate universes. The Batman is going to be set in a different universe as well.

Just last August it was announced Batfleck would be in Flashpoint.

Sure, and Michael Keaton's Batman as well.

As i said, they'll still have characters in the same universes.

But all the movies since Justice League have been stand-alone movies that just happen to be set in the same universe.

There's no plans for a Justice League Sequel.

Joker did it's own thing

The Cyborg movie was cancelled

Even the Suicide Squad "sequel" isn't really a continuation of the first film.

Pattinson's Batman isn't the same Batman as Affleck's.

This new Superman movie is likely going to be set in it's own universe as well.

Of course we'd have to put up with a lot of whining from the usual suspects because Midnight is pretty much a hyper-violent gay socialist Batman.
