Kent Nelson is supposed to be an archeologist. His expertise would be in demand. Although Nabu would certainly remember Adam as a disappointing "Shazam."

The question is, does he need to? He has wide enough of a range for any action-heavy hero or villain you could throw his way, which is exactly the kind of roles he takes.

I'd be worried if he was cast as Ghandi (not that it wouldn't be enjoyable in a different way), but for this? He's more than enough.

Funny that’s what stood out the most to me as well. He couldn’t pull a Hugo Weaving and act with his face covered? I can understand the Hollywood desire to show Pierce as much as possible. Time to go dark on this movie to avoid spoilers. I’m now looking forward to it much more than I was.

He has the body for action hero stuff but I don't know if he can really act as a believable anti hero. He always comes off as kind of goofy to me.

Why, exactly, is this confusing?

Cuz for first impressions, people won't know if his suit does that normally, is the suit ruined, or damaged, one would assume rather than scorched to have the lightning glowing n stuff, just like shazam

You’re easily confused. Most people will look at it and just think that’s how he looks in the movie.

That's not how his costume is in the teaser, or in any art that I have seen, it always looks shazam'ish

No need to post trailer on every page. I have seen it, it's odd, might be a reason why it's not glowing golden lightning bolt, he might not be at full power.

It’s how he looks in the movie. They’ll explain his backstory, as heavily shown in the trailer. There’s nothing confusing about the poster.

They might go for that new look...or he might power up at the end of the movie.

Him powering n not starting 100% from the get go, would give him an arch, where he struggles n encounters those dc heroes n in the end he has a change of heart, then powers up, sounds pretty shazamish to me
