Secret Finding Discord Discovers Solution to Slime Serpent Mount
The Slime Serpent mount has been available in game since the launch of Shadowlands, but no one was sure of how to obtain it. Well, thanks to the Secret Finding Discord, the answer has finally been solved!

In order to get the mount, you must:

• Solo the last two bosses of the Plaguefall dungeon, Domina Venomblade and Margrave Stradama, on heroic difficulty or higher.
• Afterwards, a friendly mob named Curious Slime Serpent will appear in the slime pools around Domina Venomblade's area. Take the portal back up to find it.
• Right Clicking the Curious Slime Serpent will cause you to pet it and the mount will be learned!

Currently, this seems easiest on tank specs that are pretty geared. Most of the dungeon can be skipped, save for the 3rd boss and the trash before Stradama, with stealth and invisibility potions.

it's a reskinned mount. Don't like it don't get plus you can do it on heroic

Talk about missing the point. Every other secret mount could be obtained by ANYONE as long as they went through the steps. This mount doesn't do that. You're expected to not only SOLO a dungeon but you also have to do it on heroic or higher. So it's more likely that people will need to wait for next expansion because most specs can't solo things like this.

Prob a 226 Ilvel dps can solo that no problem, even assuming that no dps can't at the moment all they need to do is wait for next patch, i doubt that mount was intented to be found this patch, like i said, people whine about anything nowadays

Are you intentionally missing the point now? Every other secret mount didn't have stupid as fuck requirements like this one. Making it something that simply needs to be solo'd is not in theme with the other secret mounts and reeks of laziness. It's bad enough that players are hardcore gatekeepers. Now Blizzard is doing it too.

I wasn't aware that you worked for Blizzard and know what was intended and what isn't. Maybe actually read my comments through instead of constantly missing the point.

Tried on a 222 aff lock

Gave it only one shot admittedly, but I only bursted the 3rd boss down to 60% before the first stun went off and she summoned the adds, which was death with no reliable way to heal through it overall.

Only hunters seem capable out of the DPS, since they can feign death to stop the adds from attacking them even.

I feel like something is missing, like the boss is meant to be skippable somehow honestly.

I seen some mages claiming is easy and a friend of mine did it on his guardian druid, around 217-220 Ileve (easy according to him), i will not even try with my rogue there till next patch

This is like...the easiest secret mount to get. Just wait till the final patch, raid and gear up, then to the dungeons lmao.

OR, OR, OR you can wait...and it will be obtainable by EVERYONE. Heroic can be solo'd next patch easily. Right now its pretty simple at 215. Just did it....

Most classes will NOT be able to solo this and that's why it's a problem.

This one can be obtained by anyone, as well, who does the steps.

Gearing up just happens to be the main step for this one.
