supply / demand
there is a higher demand than compared to us on eu so prices go higher. it was always like that iirc, i mean gold value of the token was always higher on eu. and do you know why ? return to first sentence
war does not determine who is right, only who is left.
Less people are buying WoW Tokens for €20, but the demand is still there hence the gold cost goes up.

The WoW token is actually cheaper in the US because of inflation($20 vs €20, $20 being worth ca €17). It has been like this since the start and the two has always had different ingame values because of it.
Also supply and demand plays a role but this difference in currency has caused the value to be rather consistent in difference between the two regions.
u cant buy normal gametime for 30days so ppl buy tokens for gold / and probably gold from 3rd party vendors
its first implication of blizzard recent actions

Inequality.
There are areas in Europe (e.g. Ukraine) where it costs two days wages for a subscription.
Those people will sure as shit be paying with tokens.
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Because lots of European players are poor and prefer to pay with gold. This increases the demand for tokens and creates scarcity which in turn drives the prices up.
And 220k is not even high. It was 300k at some point.

reading comprehension issues on your side buddy...
He is just explaining why the token is higher in Europe. Which is actually a fact : as wow being less affordable for eastern europe players, the demand will obviously be higher to pay the sub with gold rather than money.
The huge european income difference between west and east is a key part of the wow token price fixation.
The price would be much higher if not for the Boost Culture, where rich players buy like 10 tokens with real money and then sell for gold so they can buy boosts to M+ and raids.
Without Boost Culture, people would barely ever sell tokens for gold and just for buying some AH boes, which would create even more scarcity and drive prices even higher.
Nor did I state that?
If you read my comment, then you would realize that there was no issue in reading his post and it was directly answered to it. My statement was to the product and that he literally had a topic at hand which would fit for a different section of the forum.
And as Tenebrius said, has a big part too.

They're slow dealing with bots and botters drive the price up
If you knew the candle was fire then the meal was cooked a long time ago.
Inflation has basically nothing to do with what you explained. The relative value of the currencies is dependent on a lot of other things.
But your explanation is the most correct one tbh. People saying its about supply and demand are correct too, but I doubt they are taking into account that 20€ is different from 20$ in terms of real value (and purchasing power).
So hopefully you dont get offended that I corrected your terminology, as you actually said the important part (which I wasnt even thinking about).
What are you talking about? Different socio-economic conditions between regions would absolutely affect the way people spend on Tokens.
If people in one part of the EU make generally less money, but Tokens have a uniform price across the entire region, then that makes them a better value where they live. And that would thus increase demand and drive up their cost.
The value is way too low tbh there is no incentive to buy when you get this little gold imo.
