expand the filters

I love the option to filter the "recent forum posts" on the front page so it only shows categories I'm interested in. is it possible to have a similar system in place for the blue posts (eg: exclude classic/ptr) and the news posts (I have no interest in Diablo or Overwatch so would love to hide those)?

Adding filters for the blue tracker is something I'll keep in mind for the future, it isn't a tiny change. Filtering the news posts on the front page is in the same boat, I just haven't prioritized it since we so rarely post about other games.
