The point is you can be multilingual but the main language of the country is English and always will be, and as much as you dislike Anglo-Saxon people they will be the largest group in the country for as long as we are alive. So like I said in my first post if you don't like it, leave. Your post was anti Anglo-Saxon.
That's nice. Still doesn't make it the official language, though.
Just like the main language of the Roman Empire was always Latin. /sand always will be
Y'all do realise the entire point behind the push for linguistic uniformity is the eradication of dissident cultural and ethnic minorities, yeah? And that it's a bad thing?

That's just, like, obviously false.and as much as you dislike Anglo-Saxon people they will be the largest group in the country for as long as we are alive.
Non-Hispanic whites make up something like 60% of the population of the USA.
Of that, the biggest national origin is German. Next is Irish, and third is English, with a whopping 9% of the total population. And "English" is not 100% Anglo-Saxon, as there's a lot of Norman French and Celt in there as well.

Anglo-Saxons have never been the primary ethnic group in the USA, and there is zero indication that their numbers are about to explode.
I've lost count of how many times have I seen Julius Caesar quoted in Latin when he was actually speaking these famous quotes in Greek to his Greek speaking troops. Thanks Suetonius.
Segue back to the thread topic, languages can coexist, use the one appropriate to the situation, don't let ignorance drive you to try and exterminate one or falsely proclaim one "official" when it isn't. You can't really play the victim in a culture war while still fighting it and proclaiming linguistic dominance.

Cajuns? I'm not very familiar with them but my internet search has painted a picture for me:
-Swamp experts, masters of the bayou.
-Food: spicy. I'm skeptical of food with a lot of spice because I feel like they are trying to hide something behind strong flavors or it overpowers the main ingredient, but I'm willing to try it. When I hear "Cajun" the crawfish and catfish pop into my head. Apparently Cajun food staples are green bell pepper, celery, carrots, and onions. Corn and cornbread.
-They like to have fun, party, and play games. I guess Mardi Gras is part of their culture? I've always loved seeing pictures of this event because they have nice colors and cool apparel like masks and beads. It's kind of gaudy but I kind of like gaudy.
-High hospitality. A lot of places in the world have a "low trust" culture where it's prudent to be skeptical of helping people that are outside of your inner circle. It seems it is not an issue for Cajuns.
-Slower pace of life. They can relax and don't have to be wound up all the time. California culture might be considered more of a "rat race" in comparison. It's great for lowering stress but I could also see it leading to a lack of ambition. I think most people struggle with balancing the two attitudes.

This is a common misconception about Cajun dishes. Cayenne and Black Pepper is the source of most of the heat in Cajun food and it's added for flavor, not to make it hot as hell. In terms of spice level, Tai and Indian food is way hotter, in my experience. I'm sure there are Cajun chefs and cooks that like their food spicy, but adding heat for heat's sake isn't the point, lol.
