Status BM hunter 9.1

Since couple of weeks I changed from MM to BM specc and I enjoy it very much. Enough to change it for next tier as main specc. I was wondering what the status was for BM hunter in 9.1 dps wise. I did check some PRT logs but that is not really a representative sample size. Did not found some specific info about place of BM in next tier so thought maybe someone here has some more knowledge.

I don't understand what you mean in this sentence. What logs? What was the sample size? Even then why bother with worrying about the number of examples affecting the data, and just sim it.

I have close to 400 9.1 sims in my 9.1 sim thread that will answer most of your questions.

Additionally I've done some ptr testing if there was something else you wanted to know.

for single target, mm and bm is almost same dps base on simc.

mm was bettter because burst phase match it cd. and there were lots of aoe/cleave fight.

in 9.1 i think bm will shine
1. 8 of 10 fight are mostly single target
2. only one bow drop from raid (final boss), mean mm will stuck with heroic ilevel bow untill cutting edge while bm dont care about weapon ilevel since pet doing 60% damaged.
3. there are sooooo many crit+haste gear from raid, perfect stat for bm. it can reach 40% cri and 25+%haste easily with just heroic gear

Legendary bow is a very minor dps upgrade (around 1%), it's really intended to be a utility item due to the aoe silence effect, which primarily applies to M+ and not raiding. So, agree, will be a non-factor for BM and not much of a dps upgrade for MM either.

PS Wailing Arrow from legendary bow deal about 2.5% of total damage.
