    Football is fucking unbelievable.
I do hope they lose that match to Denmark, but in case they won't, will root for them in final - for the sake fo Italy not being champions. Despising that team.

Bigger than Euro 96? Italia 90? Russia 18?
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

The hope at Euro 96 was euphoric, back then we didn't just dared to dream or believe. We expected it.

The loss to Germany was absolutely heartbreaking, and we didn't expect it.

I dunno, I felt it was hope then, the field was harder, but we did dare to dream. As heartbreaking as it was losing to Germany, it was losing to a very good team. I think expectation now is more justified, Italy and England are the only two really good teams left in it. And it feels weird to say England are actually a really good team. I always, always felt like we were underdogs.

We were one absolutely dreadful Gascoigne miss from winning the whole thing.

    Maybe I'm just more pessimistic

I can recall the belief that we could win it but I don't really remember anyone seriously expecting that we would.

Absolutely wonderful performance tonight, looking forward to a great game vs the Danes on Wens.

England played good football tonight for the first time in the tournament, they won comfortably and kept another clean sheet!

I do expect us to get to the final, but is it enough to beat Italy, who have been the most impressive team so far? I'm not sure... but with no major injuries so far and barring a red card in the next match a full squad to pick from, we have the best shot we have had since 1990 IMO!

The hangover I'm going to have tomorrow is worth it!

I hope you're right but I don't expect Denmark to be an easy match and I can easily see it going either way, part of me is gutted that we're playing them and one of us has to go out.

But yeah I agree we're in with a good shot... let's hope we take it!

Just a reminder that last October Denmark got a 1-0 win over England at Wembley.

I don't think Denmark will be easy, I think they'll start well, but they looked tired toward the end today and I think we'll just outlast them.

Oh shit... I've just seen the Denmark match is on ITV... we're as good as out.

It's not going to be easy but it's no France or Italy either. If England shows up and plays the game they'll get through no problem.

Lets cool it with the inflammatory nation bashing.
