Mists of Pandaria: Garrosh Hellscream. Began his arc in Cataclysm, and kicked off Warlords.

Warlords of Draenor: Archimonde. Foreshadowed by Wrathion in Mists of Pandaria, kicks off Legion.

Legion: Argus. Foreshadowed by Wrathion in Mists, kicks off... Shadowlands?

Battle for Azeroth: N'zoth: Foreshadowed all the way back in Cataclysm with the Twilight's Hammer.... But also the Sha in Mists and Shadowmoon Valley in Warlords.

Shadowlands: All of this foreshadowing started two expansions ago, in Legion, with Sylvanas becoming Warchief and being a grade-A mustache twirler. And Argus' death knocking the Arbiter out cold.

10.0: Wont be a direct sequel to whatever happens to us in the beginning of Shadowlands.... But from Battle for Azeroth! The sword in Silithus, the Old Gods. Maybe with the Void being so terrified of Sylvanas, the Jailer's entire purpose could be revealed to end the war of Light and Shadow?

    Void vs Light expansion confirmed!!!!!!
    10.0 is Dragon Isles.

Tl;dr It is almost as if they have a storyline in place.

Not sure if you know this but generally they have the expansion stories figured out years before the expansion hits. They are usually 2 or 3 expansions a head in terms of storyline.

After escaping the Shadowlands, the Jailer will pull Sargeras's sword from Azeroth and flee to find Xalatath in the cosmos - Turns out the jailer is super big on Azeroth. Meanwhile we're going to have to jump into the hole left behind and cleanse Azeroth's woooooons! We're going to get all the underground Nerubian stuff initially shown in WotLK, and 11.0 will be us exploring the wound enough to find the other side of Azeroth, and finally start to answer why ships never come back when they sail away anbd what it's all about. After all, Blizz had been teasing that Azeroth isn't flat for a long time.

Wasn't Ruby Sanctum in Wrath the first real bridge to the next expac considering it's Black Dragonflight assault and Twilight Dragon Halion boss etc?

So..."Blizzard know what they do" - confirmed? AKA "wurst-käs" scenario for MMO-C

Don't think there is a parallel between that and Adal and Xera's behaviors. There hasn't been a situation where Adal could have been oppressive, but seeing as how he's a being of pure light I don't think he'd be above it. Perhaps given that Adal has interacted with mortals a lot more he might have developed a different mindset than other Naarus, but that's yet to be seen.

An old god would probably only help if it fit their cosmic agenda, and their agenda doesn't really work out for us.

Adal, Xera, Zrali, etc all have the same agenda, peace in the light no matter what.
They are creations of the void lords, but then so are the children of Azeroth due to the curse of flesh. The reality is their chaotic nature and 'seeing all futures as equally true' means some could become benevolant believing in a future where they help us.
For the Alliance, and for Azeroth!

Like Il'gynoth went to Ny'alotha when he died in the Dream.

Doesn't the whole place explode when we kill N'Zoth though?

I thought the Twilight Realm, Y'shaarjs realm in the Garrosh fight, Yogg-Sarons mindscape and the Dread Expanse in the Sha of Fear fight were all essentially Nya'lotha.

So many fucking dumbass realms Blizzard pull out of their assholes that they're all meaningless.
Ny'alotha is related to the Void, but seemingly is not the Void itself. It's said to be a realm of the Old Gods, and that it disappeared when N'Zoth died, with him being the last of the living Old Gods of Azeroth. It was a realm that represents what Azeroth would have looked like if the Hour of Twilight would have fully happened, and it would have replaced our reality had we not stopped N'Zoth. Considering there are other Old Gods in the cosmos, Ny'alotha was only related to the Old Gods on Azeroth. The other realms seem to be related to those specific Old Gods, either created by them or connected to the Void or Ny'alotha.

This isn't quite unlike other beings we've seen anyway. The Other Side is Bwonsamdi and Mueh'zala's pocket dimension within the Shadowlands. Akazamzarak had his own pocket dimension. The Emerald Dream has different "layers" inside it, some of which we visit. The elemental Planes are all pocket dimensions created by Ra and Helya. The Halls of Valor and Helheim are pocket dimensions created by Helya, connected to the mortal realm and the Shadowlands. Mardum is a world in a pocket dimension. Void Storage is also said to be a pocket dimension created by the Ethereals.

Basically, a person/creature just has to have the knowledge and/or power to create another dimension, using whatever powers that fuel it. Since the Old Gods are created from the Void Lords, who reside in the Void, they have enough power to create their own realms, and have a shared realm/reality that is separate from the Void. It seems that beings created by the Azerothian Old Gods did go back to Ny'alotha when they "died" as you mentioned, but it seems that Ny'alotha is gone now, so the Old Gods would likely just return to the Void where they originally came from now.
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored
btw: Spires of Arak = Arakkoa.

Not confirmed but they better do that instead of Cata 2.0 or MoP 2.0 or Dragon Isles like some of the grounded crowd ask for.

You know SL is a bad expansion when people are already excited for the next expansion before the first patch even comes out.

There's far too much "foreshadowing" and "hinting" and mystery box bullshit, and far too little substance. There's nothing going on in the story. Just "Just wait and see!" behind every little reveal.

Some people seem to have it in their heads the void is afraid of her...I don't know why, she got bested by old man Genn in the broken isles...constantly had to run away from foes even after she was empowered by the jailer...and like you said she has already been killed multiple times.

I'd say she'd be back to nothing but with how the devs and fans love her she will probably find some way to retain her empowerment after the jailer is dealt with.
