Not as much as you, you've got a lot of knowledge on young adults and the school system so I'll defer to you on this topic.
Right, this is why it is very important we have state funded institutions and ensure a different perspective is taught. Both in the compulsory k/12 school system and in the borderline compulsory if you ever want to make much money college system.

On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.
just say you're an anarcho-Satanist and watch their heads explode. seems like some Conservative virtue signaling. because I don't see what the point is ultimately with this, and since a deranged nutter like DeSantis approved it, it can't be anything good.
This is a terrible idea and doesn't even make sense in practice. This isn't going shift reality because politicians are afraid of the educated. They don't even listen to educated conservatives.

If this was a sane idea howcome its not commonplace in states already?
Cos its a fucking retarded Orwell idea.
Simply a tool to know what schools need a cut in funding untill they are in line with the "true" North Korean GOP thinking.
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.
Probably not, though I'd probably ask, are parents and tax payers allowed to have a say or oversight in what is being taught via their money and in relation to the k/12 system input on what the compulsory state funded school system teaches?
As for different perspective? I mean, how far does this necessarily go?

Yeah, one thing that gets lost is despite people like Jordan Peterson and stuff calling this stuff "Marxism" most of it is the opposite of it.

Colleges too, unless they are completely private with no connections to the federal DoE, also receive taxpayer funding.

Because that's the game they have to play. They can't just ignore reality, and needing to have published papers for their jobs at universities means that they're going to publish papers and claim credit so they can maintain their employment. So yes, people will act like capitalists, to a point, in a capitalist economy when their jobs rely on it. This is not, and should not be surprising.
There are only two options to a belif survey question its either YES/NO.Right, this is why it is very important we have state funded institutions and ensure a different perspective is taught.
It is also a question that is subjective.
Both options are included in classes about history and religion etc. already.
There is also no reason for the betterment of education to know the answer to this question.
It is so blatantly obvious that it is proposed based on an agenda that has nothing to do with education.
And it is not hard to guess what it is either.
Edit: this post is not towards the posters overall post, hence not including the full post/name.
Reason for my post is that the GOP been leaning on the above argument when it is:
A: not an issue because it's already covered wether one is a believer or not and its "subsections" different religious beliefs.
B: it's subjective, there is no right or wrong (in fact the question itself is the oldest critical thinking excercise there is)
C: It is a highly personal question, if anonymous or not doesn't matter. A survey among adults fine, youngster is bullshit.
There is a smorgorsboard of potential reasons of how and why it could be influensed by outside factors.
Ironically.. most people including many youngsters doing such a survey will understand that the point of it is non-existent from a curricularly point of view. And given that understanding it inherently becomes a question that is influenced to a large degree of 'What is best to answer' thus proving merit of such a question as moot.
In my view only meant to control public funding and stear the curriculum into a direction of the party in power at the moment.

Polling students opinions is kind of pointless. It would be more useful to poll teachers perspectives and to start far earlier with the k/12 system and the teacher colleges in the state.
I mean if the concern is that Teachers are using their position of power to politically indoctrinate and preach some ideology or religion, than really students aren't your problem, its teachers and what the teacher schools are churning out.

Conservatives have the weirdest idea of what schools are like. Which is very strange, because most of the ones passing these bills went to school, so they know they're full of shit. It's absolutely virtue signaling.
It's even funnier because it's not liberal indoctrination that's shouted from the rooftops at these schools. No one ever walks up to you and hands you a Communist Manifesto. You know who you have to deal with everywhere you go on a college campus? Fucking rightwing nutjobs. You can't walk five steps without running into someone screaming "ABORTION IS MURDER" and "GOD HATES ALL SINNERS AND YOU GUYS ARE THE SINNERS" into a megaphone. You sit down in any public area, and someone's going to come up to you at least once to try to hand you a bible or to get you to come their ultra-conservative crazy town group. The liberals mostly keep to themselves.
