Did you or anyone else here beat Sylvanas on Normal/Heroic before July 13th and clearly remembers the fight ending at 50%, not 45%?

If so, I'm obviously wrong, if not then perhaps I'm right and that hotfix wasn't about changing max HP, but the encounter end point.

Yes, we killed her normal first week, ended at 50%. We even were puzzled at the fix, wondering if it means whether she ends at 55%.

Current Heroic is 50% too, we just did it a few hours ago.

its not unkillable its going to take a lot of minmaxing and a perfect attempt

Echo, Limit, Pieces and BDGG have all said that this answer is a non-issue and they would adapt. They all want the same global release time and honestly when it comes to world-first races you have 4/5s of the guilds that matter right there.

I actually don't think so, it's very possible to do this reset. Echo can reshuffle roster a bit and AFAIK at least some of their boomers are NF, so there is potential there too if they have Vent backup prepped.

The remaining effective 9% of the boss are not to be underestimated for sure, but I am sure it can be done.

Perhaps they just increased the HP, anyhow, we'll know when race is over as it's likely Blizzard will let us know if it was always meant to be 45% on Mythic instead.

The best memes would be if it's not 45% but 48% or so, but then there was some datamining about 45%.

At any rate, I do think it is possible to do it this reset, but Echo really will need to change some stuff to hope to do it. They need to find good 6-7m damage more somewhere, that's substantial, but not impossible.

Maybe extra priests for PIs on top hitters or Boomies going Vent or dropping Enh Shaman and 1 War and replacing with something else.

This is what I'm curious about as well, it reminds me of nzoth when everyone kept saying "well surely he dies at x % just look at his health" and then we get to x % and he's still alive and people keep saying that until it's down to 5%

I am not good enough at any part of this game to figure out how they get 5% this week but it doesn't seeeeeeeem totally impossible?

I'm more surprised at limit doing splits, seeing as they were not the ones dying to enrage, I would think they should clean up their p3 and general consistency before calling it on sylvannas

They need to up their damage anyways because of the constant early deaths due to people being dumb

I think they only have one mage? And if so, you need it for INT. But anyway, it's for them to crack - I bet they will do some roster changes tomorrow, because I don't see how they squeeze that dam with this roster as is. They really had some sweet pulls there, so let's say they play even better it will be what another 2-3% like total maximum. Not enough with this setup.

I bet they did. I'm not naïve. Still funny though. IMO Method as a brand and Sco as leader are tarnished for good.

Echo is sort of playing it unrelated, but sure I certainly imagine quite a few there knew it all, just try to fly under the radar under a new flag.

I think they meant it as literally as possible, i.e. reducing the percentage of Sylvanas' hit points that players need to remove from 55% to 50%.

It's basically a 10% HP nerf (so basically 5% since the fight stops at 50) with different wording so people don't get confused, but obviously people got more confused from that blue post.

As to why Sylvanas MM dies at 45%, obviously devs understimated the amount of power creep so they hotfixed it to supposedly 45% to compensate, imagine wasting 2 days on Raznal just to kill Sylvanas on less attempts, that would be atrocious.

Anyway difficulty curve on this raid is terribly bad. First 3 bosses are undertuned, followed by 2 slightly overtuned bosses (will be much better when people actually has gem sets and more gear); then you have Raznal, an absurd 6th boss, followed by basically 3 "dummies". It reminds me to the HFC/Gorefiend situation where most guilds that killed gorefiend then got ishkar, zakuul and socrethar in no time.

Messing with the way raids have worked for most of the game because of 2-3 guilds would be kind of crappy honestly. Its not just the launch of the raid but the reset for at least a week.

I doubt.. Even after splits now limit cant get past 60.11%...

Also, it will depends how fast they reclear painsmith too
