Man, this makes me really wish they had just been a little more efficient with splits, if they had the same gear level as echo, this would probably be dead already.

They definitely could hit 45% with their current gear given more time.
Still wondering about a few of the raid spots, why double warrior, double DH, and is demonology the best spec now?
And honestly I thought this fight was going to be WAY WAY buggier than it has been. The teleports, the cinematic, the platforms...there's a lot of new tech in this fight.Raid bosses will always be very similar so long as encounter design requires DPS to always be pumping 100%.

Your average CE guild gets to the middle bosses in MUCH lesser gear than top guilds, because they don't have the funds to buy BoEs, nor the time to do 5+ split heroics.
Top guilds get 2-3x more gear on the first 1-3 weeks than your average CE guild who can only kill 2-3 bosses on the first week.
What you said WAS true till Legion tho. But it changed when Personal Loot AND mythic-level BoEs were introduced.
